Description
Lee Soo Jin was 10 years old when her mother and sister were murdered in front of her. The killer tried to kill her too but she fought and got away with a deep gash on her cheek. Everyday since she was attacked, her scar was made fun of by the other kids. She was called many names but the one that stuck was 'Ugly'. 4 years later she develops a crush on the school's soccer star, Luhan. When she turns 16, she tries to talk to him. He does the unexpected.

Lee Soo Jin - age 16
Very upbeat and outgoing despite her tramatic past and rude peers. She keeps a smile on infront of friends and family but secretly cries herself to sleep at night. She is watched over by her father very closely for obvious reasons. She has a huge crush on her school's soccer star. She loves to sing and dance but keeps her passion to herself thinking that only beautiful girls can have those talents. She got her dancing from her mother and she would always sing her younger sister to sleep every night.
LuHan - age 17
Luhan is the star of the soccer team. His rich background made him popular quickly. He liked the attention, though he does like being alone a little more from being so used to it. His parents were so busy making money that they didn't pay attention to him. Being the quiet but lively boy he tries to live for the moment. A foreign student who came from China 2 years ago and captured the hearts of many girls but to many girl's dismay, his heart was already stolen. He secretly loved Lee Soo Jin from afar.
Kim Jongin - age 17
Kim Jongin is Lee Soo Jin's best friend since preschool. He was there for her when her mother and sister were murdered. He was there for her throughout the years. He's loved her since they were kids. Not love as to date her but to be like her brother. He wanted to protect her and make her happy. He knows her talents but keeps it a secret for her. He is her only friend.
