When Taemin Gets Drunk. . .
Description
A story of two childhood friends: Kwon Ara and Lee Taemin.
Ara has been in love with Taemin since practically forever, but. . . she never told him for fear of ruining their long friendship.
Unbeknownst to Ara, Taemin is in love with her. Like Ara, he too never said anything about it.
Years passed. The two remained extremely close. Neither of their feelings for each other faded, yet neither confessed. Taemin had no idea how Ara felt about him. He thought that she only saw him as a best friend. Thinking that he needed to try to move on, Taemin started going out with another girl by the name of Kim Senmi. He tells Ara the next morning during their first class in the college that they both attend. Ara says nothing; she just nods, unable to speak because she knows her voice would give her away.
What follows is a wacky plan put into action with the help of some friends. . . and alcohol.

Foreword
The bell rang, signalling the end of another day at Seoul University. Taemin exited his class and began walking around campus, looking for his best friend, Kwon Ara. Suddenly, his phone vibrated with a text. Taemin checked his phone in excitement, hoping that it was a text from Ara. His face fell into a frown and he grumbled in annoyance when he saw who the message was from.
Semni:
Oppaaaaa~ Where are you? Aren’t you going to walk me home??
“Why did I even pick her as the person to help me forget about going out with Ara?” Taemin asked himself. Semni annoyed him to no end. It had already been a month since they had started going out and Taemin was ready to call it quits. He typed a speedy reply.
Taemin:
Sorry Semni. Not today. I’ve got to take care of something.
The boy then put his phone in his bag and continued his search for Ara. Then, he heard voices. He stopped by the door of a classroom, which seemed to be the source of the noise. He immediately recognized the voice of a mutual friend of his and Ara’s: Jang Ailee.
“Why didn’t you tell him when you had the chance Ara?!” Ailee yelled at the girl in front of her in anger.
Ara’s in there too? Taemin thought. He immediately hid behind the classroom door and strained his ears to hear the rest of the coversation.
“I didn’t want to ruin our friendship!” Ara protested, glaring at her friend.
Who the heck are they talking about? Taemin wondered.
“Taemin has been your friend since forever. You’ve been IN LOVE with him since forever! That witch he’s going out with is nothing compared to you! You HAVE to tell Taemin how you feel about him,” Ailee shot back seriously.
“You know I can’t do that,” Ara replied quietly, “Taemin has a girlfriend now. He looks happy with her. I can’t ruin their relationship for my own selfishness. I know I was stupid. I didn’t tell him when I had the chance. But now it’s too late. I’m just going to have to it up and live as only Taemin’s best friend. I guess I can live with that.”
Taemin smacked his forehead, quietly cursing, and sprinted back to his house as fast as possible.
A/N: Hello everyone! As you can see, I've decided to write another story! Yay~ This is basically just a small one-shot. The idea for this one-shot came to me at 2:00 in the morning so I decided to get it on paper :) I hope you enjoy it!! :D
