It is said that the old and abandoned house at horoville used to be the most beautiful houses in the street. Some said the lady living in the house has a young face although she is 65 years old as she catches kids and boil them alive , yet some say she used toads eyes, lizards' tails to make her hair smooth...

          One day, a curious Jessica decided to find out. One fine day after her supplementary lessons in school were over, she decided to pay the house a little " visit ".

          On the way there, the cold and unrelenting wind blew at the girl's face and she shuddered in fear. But in the end, she managed to brave her fears and walk slowly and steadily there.

       Not long later, Jessica arrived at the house. The house was torn down and the windows were stained with dried-up blood. Jessica pondered whether she wanted to go in or not.

After a while, she pondered and came to a conclusion, "maybe I should go in and check out the place, after all there Is no harm going in."

Suddenly , Jessica heard a voice," Don't enter the house. Aren't you afraid of the fearsome and powerful witch? Don't go in." Jessica became brave and asked," why not? That witch is long gone dead. Why should I even be scared of that stupid witch. " " Because the witch has laid a curse on all who are here and if you dare enter this house, you are bound to be doomed!" a harsh voice replied from behind of her. Jessica spun around but to her horror, there was no one in sight. Her face turned as pale as a ghost but she decided to muster all her courage and opened the door which looked mean and menacing. Out of the blue, a gust of wind blew and locked the door shut. Jessica covered her eyes In hope that when she opens her eyes again, she will be out of the door and all these Unexplained by science kind of " things" was just a nightmare that was never true. However, her only wish and hope did not come true. She was stuck in this house! Jessica raised her hands in exasperation and cried," What have I done to disturb the underworld? Is it that bad that I cannot even go out of this house?!" Mist crept around her and started to materialise into a figure.A translucent lady appeared. Jessica pressed herself against the wall. " Who are you and what do you want?" " You have gone where you shouldn't have gone. For that, you must be punished!" Jessica's stared with wide eyes at the lady as she vanished. To her horror, mist crept around her and started to drag her into the ground..... " NO!!!!!" Jessica cried when she woke up in the storeroom which carried a smokey smell. The eerie silence was almost deafening. " Finally you are awake! I love eating children, you know. And now it is your time!" the witch cackled and with an outstretched hand, lunged for Jessica. Her arm was badly hurt due to the strong grip from the witch. She screamed in agony as she glanced across her arm only to see blood dripping out from her hand. Just then, the storeroom's door opened with a loud thud. A white form bellowed," She is an innocent girl! Leave her alone!" the witch hissed back," She came Into my premises! Who are you to say that she's innocent?" the white form was about 160cm tall,about the height of a 14 year old child. Now Jessica was staring at both of them, engaging themselves in a heated argument while trying to walk out of the door. Out of the blue, the witch swung her head back to Jessica, who was about to stealthily leave the half open door from the storeroom. " And where do you think you are going, girl?" and at that moment, the door swung shut. Jessica silently cursed herself for not walking faster. The witch stared daggers at Jessica and......
