At first, they didn't know what they were doing. They were just ambitious fools who were looking for money and fame. Children they were. Not meant for

the real world full of paparazzi, cameras, and dirty secrets. They weren't ready for all this and they certainly weren't ready for the people that would make

their supposedly perfect lives, a living hell.

 

Months earlier...

A white blur was thrown across the dusty room.

 

"Hey! Watch where you're throwing that thing! You almost knocked this lamp off the table!" A brown curly haired boy voiced, his beautiful doe eyes were paired with a scowl. 

 

"Yah! You know I'm trying to work on my throwing skills!" The spiky black haired boy exclaimed. His cute pout and big starry eyes were begging his childhood friend to forgive him. 

 

Fortunately for him, it worked.

 

The doe eyed beauty just heaved a sigh and shook his head, returning back to the floor to pick up the shirt. 

 

"You're so ridiculous."

 

"I prefer to call it ambitious." The spiky haired cutie went back to  sweeping the floor. 

 

The duo were cleaning their small apartment that connected to their dainty tea shop downstairs. Just two friends trying to get by and pursue their dreams.

 

What were their dreams? Well, they didn't know yet. They were just waiting for their time to shine. 

 

"Hey...wanna head to that new grocery store that opened down the street? I heard from the ajumma down the hall that the produces there were amazing." the

spiky cutie offered. He knew his buddy loved underpriced goods. 

 

He was right. The doe eyed boy's mouth twitched into a grin and exclaimed. 

 

"Really? Well, I was trying to get some vegetables for tonight's dinner."

 

"Exactly! Let's head down now!" The cutie grabbed his buddy's hand, raced out of their crampy apartment and onto the streets of the city.

 

Truthfully, the cutie had really wanted to head down to the grocery store for another reason. He had actually heard from his buddy Jonghyun that there were talent scouts from a singing agency downtown and he wanted to check them out, but he knew his partner in crime did not approve of a singing career.

 

He was always too protective of the cutie. The beauty once had told him the his looks could attract the wrong type of crowd and that singing too much could lead to vocal problems that could end up scarring him for the rest of his life.

 

He didn't question his buddy but that didn't mean he stopped trying. 

 

He would show him that singing wasn't the wrong choice.

 

As the duo was heading down the streets, there was a group of people that crowded at the end of the corner. Mostly women that shrieked with excitement.

 

"What's going on there?" The doe eyed boy questioned, his forehead creased in confusion.

 

"Uh...probably nothing. Let's just head to that grocery store shall we?" The cutie tried frantically to grab his friend's attention back but failed miserably thanks to a certain figure that jogged towards them.

 

The figure was wearing a black wool jacket that emphasized how cold he was even though it was the middle of spring and dark skinny jeans.

 

"Wow! You two are some handsome guys! Or should I say...beautiful guys!" The duo looked back at the man and his crowd of fangirls that followed. Their faces filled with confusion.

 

"Uh...sorry. Didn't mean to make it all weird. My name is Lee Jinki and I represent SMA." Jinki made an awkward chuckle and continued.

 

"SMA is Seoul's number one modeling agency and I believe you two have potential." Silence preceded that sentence. 

 

Brown haired beauty was the first to speak.

 

"Potential? Potential for what? Modeling? I'm sorry but we have no experience in that field whatsoever." He waved his hand off and tried to leave but was cut off.

 

"Wait! I assure you, we can train you two! We can provide everything! Money, insurance, foods and beds!" 

 

"Why are you offering us so much? We're just two guys you met on the streets." The cutie replied.

 

Lee Jinki pondered the for a moment. After a couple seconds, he looked up to the two with a confident smile.

 

"I don't really know why. You guys just seem to shine when you walk."

 

The duo looked at each other. Thoughts were exchanged. 

 

"Should we do it?"

 

"Why not, they're offering us so much. Besides, he doesn't seem like a scammer."

 

"Yeah... but it seems too good to be true, neh?"

 

"I promise you, I am not scamming you in anyway." His eyes spoke truth which the two couldn't help but believe.

 

"Well...."

 

"If he says...."

 

The two grinned at each other, back at Lee Jinki and said in unison.

 

"Why not?" 

 

The man had practically shrieked with happiness and jumped up and down. His fangirls behind him were squealing with amusement and flashing pictures at every second.

 

"Yay! Perfect! Now, I just need you two to take this card and sign this." Jinki pulled out a pen and a contract out of his left coat pocket and handed it to the duo along with his business card.

 

"Oh my, I almost forgot! How silly of me! Before we go any further, what are your names?" 

 

The duo didn't answer but instead just quickly handed back the contract and walked away.

 

"Wait hold on! Don't leave!" But his attempts were futile. He just looked down at the contract and read. 

 

Contact Info., birthdays...ah! Names!

 

Because of the sloppy signatures, he could barely see what it said.

 

Jang Hyunseung and Yang Yoseob it said. 

 

"Huh...well. They're an interesting bunch."

 

With the babo duo...

"Hey Seobie... are we still going to the grocery store?" Hyunseung was still shocked from the earlier encounter.

 

Yoseob was lost in his thoughts. After a while, he answered.

 

"Nah...we don't really need to anymore, neh?"
