You were on the roof of the school.

You were now on the floor after being tripped by Kim Jongin, or better known as Kai.

He was laughing at you with everyone else but Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo has been your friend since you both were little.

You quietly got up, without looking at anyone but Kyungsoo.

He gave you a pitiful look before sending a nasty glare at everyone.

You got to your seat in the middle row, careful not get tripped again.

Tears brimmed your eyes as you started to hear unnecessary comments, but you decided that you'd cover your sadness with a smile.

“Yah, Kyungsoo! Stop standing up for your disgusting girlfriend, she deserves every bit of hate she gets!" said one of your classmates.

At the point where Kai heard the word ‘girlfriend', his hands clenched into fists.

‘You do deserve it,' he thought.

‘You deserve to be in all the pain I've been through because of you...' he sent you a mean snarl, but you weren't looking.

‘If only you could of noticed me when I was trying, you wouldn't be in this situation.

But you had to go to that damned Kyungsoo, I never got to talk to you...

I never had a chance to tell you how I felt about you.

I was always in Kyungsoo's shadow.' He thought bitterly.

Just to add more guilt, Kai added a suggestion to the comments being made.

He chuckled deeply and said,

“Just go kill yourself. You're no use, you're hopeless, pathetic.

Kyungsoo wasted his time being friends with you all these years.

You'll be doing us all an amazing favor. Go die."

You stopped breathing for a moment.

The tears finally rolled down your cheeks, from all these years of hate... you cracked.

With teary eyes, you got your stuff and ran out of the classroom.

You heard Kyungsoo calling your name, but you kept on running.

Kai felt proud for the moment, but a voice in the back of his head asked him,

”Wasn't that the girl you were madly in love with since 1st grade? Look, if anything happens to her, you lose..."

Then he felt a huge pain in his chest, in his heart.

 

 

~~~Present time~~~

You were recording a video with your phone to give to your parents if they found the phone.

“Hey mommy, hi daddy..." you started, your voice cracking and tears streaming down your face.

“I'm so sorry, I really am.

But I need to go.

I'm a burden to everyone.. I can't take it anymore, please take care.

I'll be watching you from wherever I am.

I love you both so much, thank you for all these wonderful years raising me.

Tell Kyungsoo that he was the bestest friend anyone could have. Bye bye..." and you ended the video.

You looked over the edge of the 3 story school building.

You took your favorite necklace off and threw it by your phone.

“Goodbye, everyone..." you whispered.

Then you heard a door slam open, and you dropped.

He was too late.

He ruined everything.

He lost her.

He lost the girl he loved the most.

He dropped onto his knees and cried.

“IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THIS WAY! YOU WERE ONLY SUPPOSE TO FEEL GUILTY! I LOVE YOU, _____! YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSE TO DIE!" He screamed, sobbing.

“You were only suppose to love me like I've always loved you..." he whispered to himself before grabbing your necklace he spotted.

He put it on and said, “Please wait for me, _____."

Then he jumped.
