[Prologue]

As I stepped into the alleyway my heart raced. Why was I trusting this guy? He looked like a drug dealer. He probably is a drug dealer. What did he say his name was? Kai? That doesn't sound like a korean name. This whole thing was off. I stopped.

''What's wrong?'' The tall man turned around. He looked no more than 20 yet seemed so manly.

''I grew up being told not to trust strange men.'' My voice came out a fair big harsher than I intended.

''I am nothing if not trustworthy.'' Kai msirked. ''Please keep following. I-''

A phone rung out from his pocket. He apologised, grabbed it and held it to his ear.

''Yes? I understand that, sir. No sh-. Yes b- okay. Yes. Crystal clear.'' He hung up and turned back to me.

''Would you like to come back to my place?" He grinned.

''I'm not that kind of girl.'' I smirked and turned around. Before I could walk away, Kai grabbed my shoulder and spun me around.

''At least let me take you back to your place.''
