My phone vibrated and I got a text from Himchan, a boy I met at the club a while ago.

Himchan: Do you want to hang out?

Me: Yeah, where do you want to meet?

Himchan: I’ll pick you up at 12 o’clock?

Me: Okay, I’ll see you later.

“Who was that?” So Ra asked.

“You know that guy we met at the club, Himchan.” I said.

“Oh, yeah, I remember him.”

It was 12 o’clock and I was ready right on time. In the distance I could see Himchan driving an expensive red car, I don’t know the brand, because yeah I’m a girl.

“Nice ride.” I said.

“Thanks, it was a gift.” He answered and I was a bit shocked.

“I know this cute place where we can eat.” I suggested.

“Oh, hop in and show me the way.”

He drove us there and when we arrived he took a glance at the place and had a disapproving look on his face.

“You know what, I know another place and I’m sure you’re gonna like it.” He said and I didn’t know what to reply, wasn’t this good enough for him? We were just going to eat something gee. He drove us to the place where he wanted to eat and the outside looked super expensive already. A young man took Himchan’s keys and drove the car away into a parking space. Himchan guided me inside and he had his hand loosely around my waist. Everything happened so fast. One moment we were at the cute place and the other we were standing in front of a fancy 5 star restaurant of some sort.

The waiter apparently recognized him and he guided us immediately to a table for two with a killer view. Himchan pushed the chair so I could sit down, like a real gentleman. He was just someone I had met at the club, not too long ago and how did I end up here? When I first saw him I had no idea he was this rich, because he looked just like a normal guy with a t-shirt and some plain jeans.

“How was your day?” He asked sweet.

“I’m looking for a job actually.” I said.

“Oh really?” He intertwined his fingers and leaned his head on them.

“Yeah, you remember the club where we met? It looks really fun to work there.”

“Oh, yeah I remember. Maybe you should go on a job interview?” He said with a smirk on his face.

“You think they would hire me?” I asked surprised.

“Yeah, sure, why not.” He smiled at me.

The waiter came to take our orders and I knew what I was going to ask.

“Sir, may I take your order?” The waiter asked.

“I’ll have the pasta with salmon and she will have the same.” He said with a serious face and handed the menu over to the waiter. I was flabbergasted. Hello, can I have my own opinion and choose my own food? What if I’m allergic to salmon, what then? Well, good for him that I’m not allergic, but I really don’t appreciate it that people make choices in my place.

“And what do you want to drink sir?” The waiter asked again.

“For me a wine, you know what I like and for-“ Himchan started but I continued.

“And for me a coke please.” I smiled to the waiter as I handed over my menu.

The waiter raised an eyebrow, but wrote my order down anyway. Himchan looked a bit annoyed for a second, but he straightened up his face soon after.

“Girls like it when a man is in charge.” He started off with a smile.

“Maybe the brainless girls you hang out with.” I said and I might have sounded a bit too harsh. He laughed a bit shocked and amused at the same time.
