Shadow

Description

"Love exists but with an absence of eternity. At the first moment of the lovers encounter there's an affirmation of love. Psychological lunacy, emptiness, panic, delusion that the moment will last forever. Unseized by desire, I hide behind my back and postpone all answers."

The events described here, is a tale of love and death. You are welcome to leave now, and spare your sanity, at the loss of others.

The events I will describe are very real.

Foreword

AMBER:

You sit still in your chair, head rested on your desk enveloped in darkness. You would have thought that three years of being condemned in this hell, you would have accepted your vicinities, but nonetheless complaints fell through.

No cushioned chairs. They were afraid that patients would cut open the fabric and eat the stuffing to induce death. You groaned, but metal was okay?

It's not like being here already doesn't remind you of what you've done.

The heavy metal door creaked open, a sliver of light pouring in. You squinted at the intrusion, then covered your face with your hands. "Mrs.Lui?" The nurse called.

You don't know why he posed that as a question. It was your usual nurse, he knew it was you. The name was on the outside of your door, and it was the same name plastered on the back of your unbearably white uniform.

"Dr. Kang would like to see you, now." He told you, walking in your direction.

Told.
Here, you were never asked to do anything, you were told to.

"Do I have to?" You asked, standing up to stretch, walking over to him.

He chuckled, like he'd normally do when you'd ask this question. It was time for your monthly discussion to; once again, describe to the same person what hell-binding thing you did to put you in this predicament.

He put a firm grip on your forearm while he accompanied you down the hallway, to the Dr.'s office. "Why?"

You turned to him, "Why what?"

"Every month, for three years, you've asked me the same question before going into discussion. Why?"

You were infront of the office now, hand on the door-knob in midturn. "I've been asked the same question, every month, for three years too... Now we're even."
