“Omo! Mianhae!” Sooyoung exclaimed, bowing down repeatedly for the nth time. The taller man just stared at the younger girl in front of him. His eyebrow slightly rose because of amusement. He continued munching on the toast on his hand, half-ignoring the girl in front of him.

When Sooyoung realised that not an inch of respond came from the person beneath her, she stopped bowing and lifted her head up. Her eyes widened to see that the guy in front of her is her new training sunbae, Shim Changmin.  He had a blank expression on his face and she suddenly had a feeling that she’s in trouble.

Her eyes wondered to his hands and she noticed that he was holding onto a piece of slightly burnt toast. Just seeing that toast wrapped on his fingers was enough for Sooyoung’s stomach to grumble. Damn! Why didn’t I have breakfast on my first day of training!

Sooyoung’s face turned a scarlet colour as a loud unexpected noise came from her stomach. She quickly covered her flat stomach in embarrassment, hoping the boy in front of her wouldn’t hear the awkward sound she just made. However, it was no good as the boy heard it loud and clear.

Before the younger could bow down and apologise once again, Changmin placed his other hand on the toast; carefully splitting the bread into half and making sure that both sides were equal. He then grabbed the girl’s wrist, making the girl slightly jump from the sudden skinship, as he placed the piece of bread on her palm.

Still wearing a blank expression, he walked away leaving the confused girl all on her own on the empty hallway.

Sooyoung, who was still a bit surprised, could only look at the piece of toast resting on her palms then Changmin’s back gradually getting further and further away from her. A smile crept on her face as she started to walk away, examining the huge building that was called the ‘SM Academy’.

‘That Changmin guy is pretty interesting,’ Sooyoung thought as she took a huge bite of the toast that the boy gave her a few minutes ago.
