Description
Seohyun, a nineteen-year-old, comes from one of the richest families in South Korea. She's going through her second year of college when a sudden collision puts her right in the path of Jung Yonghwa, the campus golden boy with not much money who happens to have a talent for playing guitar.

Seohyun has only wished for four things as of now in her entire lifetime: 1.) for her parents to never get sick, 2.) for her younger siblings to always receive what they wish for, 3.) an iPod for her nineteenth birthday, and 4.) to never fall in love. The first two are self-explanatory and so typically Seohyun. Number three had been just a careless thought, a wish made while she had been in the process of blowing out the candles on her birthday cake. But number four – oh, number four. She’s had crushes before, harmless ones. Of course she’s dated. It wasn’t that she didn’t believe in love, no, far from that. In fact, Seohyun has witnessed far too much love to ever want to fall in love herself. She had seen all the disasters, all the complications the so-called emotion caused. Seohyun didn’t particularly want to think of one person all day and night or be so intimate with someone else, both on physical and emotional levels. She didn’t want the heart-wrenching, all-consuming love that so many other girls wished for.
But that’s all about to be changed when Jung Yonghwa enters her life one fateful day with a crash. Literally.

A/N: hi guys! i'm not an avid fan of WGM (sadly, i've missed a ton of episodes BUT i'm catching up as i type this :D) but i really like the show and the couples this year have really reeled me in - adam, khuntoria, and yongseo. i'm much more of a jaesica/haesica shipper but i absolutely love both seohyun and yonghwa and they are too cute together. i got really inspired to write a story about them after seeing their personalities and interactions with each other in real life, so please enjoy 'Heartstrings.'
