a beauty between wolves

Description

Plot:

A long time ago, those twelve boys were ordinary, happy people. However, their happiness could not last forever or at least until their last day. It was an extremely joyous day for their country. Japan lost the war and Joseon could finally free itself and its people from the gripe of barbarian oppressors. During the course of two weeks, the twelve friends whose families were quelled, violated or simply capturated or torturated, who swore to stay together whether good or bad happened, could finally enjoy lives filled with freedom and drawn with happiness. However their laughs were eaten and their smiles were tore by some not-so-satisfied sinful Shinto priests, human beings who couldn't fully afford to see jubilant days for the nation they once wrecked. Using their mystic powers, acquired by evil black magic, the priests consumated the nature of the twelve friends and changed it drastically, with addition of malignancy, venom, violence and ruin. They were no longer able to keep being human beings, or at least fully. They were starved. They were thirty. They were in need of feed. They had become wolves. The alliance between the twelve was damaged, to become a thin line, wavering. Until a certain beauty happened to appear.

Main Characters:

"The Beauty"

Yoo Saehee

A 17 year-old young girl who plans to study in Ehwa University. Saehee's parents were survivors of the March 1st Movement, and always taught her how Joseon (Korea) was rightfully supposed to have their language learnt and their culture mantained. How freedom wasn't only an assured desire but a must for Joseon to obtain. Later, Japanese forces abruptly ravished her parents and they were borne to the prison, where they died. Saehee, despite having grief over her parents' death, always dreamt of following their path, side by side with God and the ones she loved. Saehee is bright, sprightly and often serene, cherishing literature and music. She loves her country dearly. She saw Joseon being freed from the Japanese gripe with her own eyes and could palp the light sensation of loose. Everyday was filled with light, every night was filled with beauty. However, Saehee wasn't born to live an idyllic life. And this very fact was proven correct when she encountered the twelve boys.

Twelve boys, once ordinary kids who had just experienced the jubilant freedom of Joseon, now wolves under a black magic spell performed by Shinto priests. Imprisioned once by brutish Japanese, now by reckless priests, in their lifetime, freedom wasn't quite experienced. Unexistent darkness envolved their souls and metamorphosed them to become wolves. Despite the promise of an unbreaking alliance, their relationship was damaged as they rather became violent, lawless, mindless, with their lost souls wandering and looking for their respective owners. They strove among themselves, losing their physical control, splitting into two groups. Unable to enlist any kind of help, they lived in complete despair, forlorn because of their unjust metamorphosis. However, this dimness, this seemingly eternal mist of drear, began to forsake as a certain beauty pulled herself between them and transmitted emotions and warmth they could never feel for long.
