Dog Days

Hyomin's P.o.v

"Unni!" IU said to me smiling.

"What?" I asked annoyed. IU was 15 at the time and I was 17. It was me IU, and Lizzy. We were all best friends, nothing could tear us apart.

"When is Lizzy coming?" IU asked me. I shurrged my shoulders and continued writing on a notebook. Joon then came over along with Minho and Daehyun. I almost forgot about them. All six of us were best friends, ever since middle school.

"Hey, ladies." Joon said while giving me a kiss on the check. He was my boyfriend and also a football player. Everyone had a name in the group. Joon was the jock, Minho was the nerd, but he was hot. Daehyun is the serious guy, barely talked, but he was still cool and good looking. IU was the cheerleader, bubbly and just out there, but she always worried to much. Lizzy is the lets go all the way type of girl. Now me, I was the one who stood up for everyone, I was the one who kept everything together, especially our friendship.

"Hey Joonie!" I said hugging him.

"I see the whole gang is together." Junsu said while coming up to us. He used to be our friend, until he did said something that he shouldn't. He and Joon used to be really good friends, they knew everything about each other. Junsu was the funny guy in the group, he always knew how to make us laugh.

"Not talking to me now?" Junsu asked chuckling. Joon just sighed then looked at him.

"Leave." Joon said now glaring at him.

"Okay, calm down, I wouldn't want you to turn into the hulk." Junsu said laughing, then walked away.

"He gets me so mad!" Joon said annoyed.

"Don't worry, he's just jelly cause he cant hang out with us anymore." I said giving him a warming smile. Lizzy then came over laughing.

"Meet up second period." Joon said. We all agreed running into the school and going to class. I looked outside the window and sighed. This school was a rich school. The type of school where if someone was drinking or smoking they automatcally got kicked out. The people who were lucky to get in have to have good grades, all A's and B's nothing else. If you get a C you don't even get a chance to explain, they put you on strict studying. Your parents could have just died and they wont care. It's all about the grades and looks at this school. Everything is, perfect. After class we all met up again outside at the usual spot.

"Why do we even need to study!" Lizzy asked annoyed.

"Do you want to get kicked out?" Minho asked.

"Well no, but-"

"Then study." Minho said. Lizzy then put her hand up as if she was about to hit him.

"Aish!" She said annoyed, then laid back on the grass and started reading.

"OMO!" IU yelled loudly. We all turned our attention towards her.

"What what's wrong!?" Daehyun asked looking at her. Daehyun and IU had a close realationship, not the dating type but they were just childhood friends. They always looked out for each other.

"Nothing bad, but how about we go out tonight?" IU said smiling. Daehyun then sighed and then went back to reading. I laughed.

"All of a sudden?" I asked confused.

"I think it'll be fun." Lizzy said smiling.

"Everything is fun to you." Minho said laughing at Lizzy. Lizzy just rolled her eyes.

"No, that's a great idea, we haven't gone out in a while. It'll be good to take a break anyway." Joon said agreeing. I nodded my head and sighed. Everyone else agreed to.

"Everyone tell their parents that we're going to study." Joon said. We all nodded our heads.

"See you guys later." Minho said as we all split apart and went home. Tonight was going to be fun.

Joon's P.o.v

We all met up at a park. This wasn't just any park though it was the so called "haunted" park. Lengend is, someone or something died here last year. Six students who all went to the same school as me had killed someone here. Stupid, but people still beleived it.

"You aren't scared are you?" I asked IU smirking.

"No, why wo-AHHHH!" IU screamed as she stepped on a leave. Minho started laughing.

"It's not funny!" IU screamed at Minho. Minho just continued to laugh. We all sat down on the grass.

"It was your idea to go out yet your scared like hell." I said laughing.

"I didn't know we would come here, someone-" She lowered her voice and looked around. "Died here." She said finishing her sentence. I just shook my head and laughed again.

"It's just a story that people made up to scare people like you." Hyomin said comfoting IU.

"I heard that one of the students chopped up the guys body and threw it in the river." Lizzy said looking at IU smiling.

"HOW CAN YOU SMILE?" IU asked looking her her surprised.

"Oh yea, and then I heard it was revenge." Minho chimed in.

"I heard his body still wonders around looking for six students to come here and get his revenge and then you know what happens?" I said looking at IU.

"What?" She asked scared.

"He goes to each student and kills them. One. By. One." I said laughing. Minho went behind IU and attacked her.

"AHHH HELP HE'S GOT ME!" IU screamed with tears running down her face. Minho, Lizzy and I were all laughing.

"Guys, that wasn't funny, you know how much IU gets scared." Daehyun said. Lizzy then hugged him with tears still running down her face.

"Psh, baby." Minho said laughing.

"Guys we should really stop now." Hyomin said glaring at me. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Mian." I said turning my head to the side. I always listened to Hyomin no matter what.

"Funny seeing you guys here." Junsu said. He sat down next to us.

"What do you want?" Lizzy asked annoyed.

"I want you baby." Junsu said his lips.

"Funny, now leave." Lizzy said annoyed.

"How I miss the days of our little love fights." Junsu said smirking. Lizzy just rolled her eyes. I stood up and glared at him.

"Leave." I said glaring at him. Junsu stood up and glared at me.

"You know, it's funny both of us became friends in this very spot." Junsu said smiling. I glared at him.

"It was the hottest time of the year, better known as, dog days." Junsu smirked at me. I then grabbed him by the collar.

"I'll tell you one last time, leave." I said warning him.

"There you go again, nag nag nag. Let loose for once." Junsu said laughing.

"Let loose? Fine, I'll let loose." I said as I threw him on the ground.

"Joon, stop!" Hyomin yelled at me. I ignored her and started punching Junsu. We ended up rolling at the way towards the river. I glared at him.

"Want me to stop?" I asked glaring at him. He spit on my face and started laughing. Finally I got so mad I just threw him in the river.

"JOON!" Minho yelled at me.

"! Joon did you forget he cant swim!" Hyomin yelled at me. Minho and Daehyun quickly ran over to the river and they tried reaching out for him but they couldn't see him. Minho then took his shirt off and jumped in the water and started looking for him.

"Very funny guys, you got me." IU said laughing.

"IU THIS ISN'T A PRANK!" Hyomin yelled at her.

"Unni, you're in on it to?" IU said laughing.

"IU, we are not kidding right now." Lizzy said looking her dead in the eye. Minho came out of the water and shook his head.

"!" I said mad with myself. We then saw lights coming from all directions. We all quickly started running. Finally we were on the road. IU was shaking and Daehyun was trying to comfort her. Hyomin was freaking out cursing and yelling. Minho was trying to find out about how much of a chance Junsu had to live and I was just quiet, no words. I couldn't say anything.

"We have to tell someone!" IU said suddenly.

"I agree, it's better if we turn ourselfs in." Hyomin said. I looked at Minho hoping he would take my side.

"I'm sorry, but he only has a 25% chance of living." Minho said sighing. I shook my head.

"No, forget it. Nobody says a thing. Never speak of this again!" I said storming off. That day I killed someone. I killed someone who was my friend, no my best friend. I killed him and he's never coming back. What have I done?
