Prologue

Dear Suzy,

How are you doing? It's been a few years since you started your life at the boarding school.I had to send you there after your grandfather had vanished after he went travelling.It must be painful for you because I didn't give you any explaination why I'm sending you there.I'm sorry for that.

But listen, this is for your own sake.Your seventeenth birthday is coming soon and I want you to hide somewhere until your seventeenth birthday is over.It may doesn't make any sense,but please, do as I say and hide,as quickly as you can ! Do it if you still believe your mother's words.

Suzy folded the paper and put it on her lap.She leaned against the bench and bit her lower lip as she thought about the letter.

"Mom, are you hiding something from me?"

"Suzy !" Someone called out her name and she looked at her side. She saw a short girl was running towards her. She was Soojin,Suzy's junior who was one of her closest friends in school. Suzy stood up from the bench as she approached her,panting.

"What is it,Soojin?" 

"There's a call for you. It's from your mom."

"Mom?" Soojin nodded at her question. Without any hesitation,Suzy ran passed her and headed into the school hall.Her foot steps could be heard clearly as she ran towards the public phone.There's only a few public phones and she could spot the phone that Soojin had picked up.She quickly took the phone and called out her mother. 

"Mom? Mom? Hello, are you there? Mom !" 

Suzy had decided to go home and checked if her mother was fine. But little did she know, she had just made the worst decision ever.
