Love exists but with an absence of eternity.

At the first moment of a lovers’ encounter, there is an affirmation of love.

Psychologically lunacy.

Emptiness.

Panic.

Delusion that the moment will last forever.

I'm seized by desire.

I hide behind my back...

And postpone all answers.

~

Tiffany Hwang Miyoung has always loved cute things. Especially cute pretty pink things. Her eyes would literally sparkle at the thought. She grew up with the color pink belonging to solely her. No one else. All hers.

~

When Tiffany first met Taeyeon, they were only nine years old. She was such a cute thing.

“Annyeong! I’m Tiffany.”

“Tippani?” she asked breathlessly.

She eye-smiled and nodded, “Mmhmm. What’re your names?”

The shorty grunted a bit as she struggled to give an answer. Tiffany continued to smile as she watched the little girl wrestle with a little boy with slightly shaggy hair. Normally, kids wouldn’t approach people in a scuffle but Tiffany was different. There was just something about this little girl.

For one, she was such a small thing. Tiffany figured she was two years younger than her and little children need unnies to watch out for them. The pink loving girl figured she would be the perfect candidate.

Secondly, this girl was scruffy like a puppy and puppies were cute! She seemed a little rough around the edges, she was wrestling at the moment so it was understood. The little girl reminded Tiffany of a tramp dog like in that Disney movie and she needed attention. Attention that Tiffany would willingly give her and more!

Lastly, she was wearing a light pink t-shirt with a picture of Totoro on the front. Pink t-shirt with Totoro? Perfect. Tiffany just knew they were going to be best friends. She had to talk to her.  That’s why she stood watching the two children continue to wrestle each other.  Tiffany didn’t have to wait too long because after a couple of minutes, the two finally pulled away from each other and rested on their backs with their chests heaving.

“So, what’re your names?” she asked again, her eyes focused on the cute girl’s pink Totoro shirt.

However, the first person to answer was not the owner of the pink shirt but rather the little boy with slightly long hair who pushed himself into a sitting position, “I’m Amber.”

Tiffany’s attention was diverted to the other scruffy looking...boy. A frown covered her face as she took in this Amber. His hair was shaggy and passed his shoulders a little bit. She couldn’t clearly see his eyes because his bangs were slightly covering them. Yes, he did look like a dog. An ugly, wet dog with a girly name.

“Amber? But that’s a girl name.”

A loud laugh came from the cute unnamed girl, “That’s because she is a girl.”

The little eye smiling girl looked between the little boy and the pink shirted girl. Her eyes bounced back and forth between the two before focusing her attention on Amber. She squinted and took in the tomboy’s attire that consisted of shorts and a green ninja turtle t-shirt. It must have been the clothes but...the pink shirt girl was wearing the same type of shorts and t-shirt. Hers just happened to be pink and of Totoro and her hair was up in a ponytail too. Yeah, it must be the hair then.

“Omo, you’re a girl? I thought you were a boy!” Tiffany pursed her lips in thought.

Amber laughed as she looked over to her cousin, “You thought wrong, didn’t she unnie?”

“She did,” cute onyx eyes glittered in mirth.

Even her eyes were cute. Her height was cute, her smile was cute, her playfulness was cute. She was just a huge bundle of CUTE. Now all she needed was a name to this cuteness.

Tiffany pouted as she poked the shorty who was still lying on the floor, “You still haven’t told me your name.”

A chuckle escaped the cute little girl, “Taeyeon. My name’s Taeyeon.”

Tiffany stared at the other girl and smiled brightly, her eyes disappearing into crescents. The cute, pink-wearing girl finally gave her her name and she was incredibly happy. Afterall, cute things were the best.

“Well Taeyeon, I like your shirt. It’s cute. You can call me unnie.”

Taeyeon looked at Tiffany with a confused look, “Unnie?”

“Mmhmm,” Tiffany blinded the shorty with another eye smile.

Taeyeon sat up with an indignant look and puffed up her chest; jamming her thumb against her chest, “Pft, I’m pretty sure I’m older than you.”

“Oh, you’re so cute, Tae~” Tiffany couldn’t help herself and leaned forward to pinch the grumpy girl’s cheek.

“Yah! I’m turning ten in two weeks,” Taeyeon pulled her face away while Amber rolled around in laughter at the sight.

The hands that pinched her cheeks halted in their tracks, “Omo, you are older than me.”

“See? I told you,” she grumbled while rubbing her pained cheeks.

Tiffany smiled regardless at her new cute friend, “Your baby face is so cute though, Taetae.”

“Taetae?” pinkness covered the girl’s entire face.

Another round of laughter escaped Amber’s lips, “Hahaha! Taetae! That’s a good one.”

“Shut up!” Taeyeon kicked Amber.

Tiffany looked over to the blushing Taeyeon and she smiled once more, “Yes, Taetae. Because you’re cute. I like cute things. Let’s be best friends.”

~

When Tiffany met Jessica, they were fourteen years old. She was very cute; a bit icy, but cute nonetheless.

Tiffany inwardly groaned as she stood in line. Her feet felt like lead and she cursed Taeyeon and Amber in her head. Both in English and Korean. This was unfair! Her best friend of five years dragged her to this godforsaken place. She refused to be here. Absolutely, totally, refu-

“Oh, come on, Miyoung-ah, it’s going to be great!” Taeyeon said smugly, breaking Tiffany’s inner ramblings.

Tiffany’s eyes disappeared into crescents but this time to glare fiercely at the annoying blonde shorty. She didn’t know what possessed Taeyeon to dye it but it surprisingly fit her. Tiffany didn’t know what irritated her more, the fact that Taeyeon did something random and it still worked out in her favor, or the fact that Amber idolized Taeyeon and followed her footsteps in getting her hair dyed too. Not as bold as Taeyeon’s blonde but she dyed her hair brown and got a haircut to go along with it. It reminded Tiffany of a coconut though.

Amber, the coconut head, smirked, “I’m two years younger than you and I’m not afraid.”

Tiffany shook her mushroom haired head, “I don’t like haunted houses. They’re scary.”

“I know! That’s what’s so great about them. It’s all about the Halloween feel, you know?” the blonde shorty was obviously excited at the thought.

“Ha, of course you’d say that. You love watching horror movies,” Amber nudged her cousin.

“There’s not even going to be anything pink in there, I hate this,” Tiffany pouted.

Taeyeon turned around and enveloped Tiffany in a giant bear hug, “Aww, I’ll be here for you, Miyoung-ah.”

Tiffany shoved a hand against Taeyeon’s face and pushed her off of her, “I’m still mad at you. And stop calling me Miyoung!”

Amber chuckled at the best friends, “It’s your name, isn’t it?”

All she received was a huff in reply and an ajumma laugh from Taeyeon, “Anyway, my friend should be on her way here.”

“Friend? You made a friend without me knowing?” Tiffany asked with a pout.

The shorty shrugged her shoulders, “She’s in a couple of my classes. You’ll like her.”

Tiffany shifted her weight to her left hip, “What makes you think I’ll like her?”

Taeyeon raised her eyebrows with an all-knowing smirk on her face, “She’s cute. You like cute things.”

Amber laughed out loud, “That’s definitely true.”

A huff escaped Tiffany’s lips and she would have loved to shove Taeyeon’s face into some hole in the ground like an ostrich. She’d also prefer if the stupid shorty would keep her head in the earth forever. Taeyeon took every opportunity to talk about Tiffany’s affinity for cute things and embarrass her with it. Before she could say anything in retaliation, a pretty girl came up to them with a rather icy look in her eyes.

“Taeyeon...”

Tiffany turned around in surprise at the voice. In front of her stood a very pretty girl with slightly icy eyes. Her face had a bored expression but if you looked closer, you could see she was very shy. Tiffany smiled at the thought of this ice princess putting up a front. Her mind took her to an imaginary situation of a younger ice princess who hid behind her mother when meeting new people. Aigoo, that’s so cute~ Tiffany thought to herself.

She took in the other girl’s appearance and couldn’t help but nod in approval. The ice princess wore a cute white skirt and black leggings. A light pink leather jacket covered her to protect her from the biting cold and a bright red scarf was around her neck. She even had a silver headband on. Absolutely cute. Looking exactly like a princess dressed for winter.

Taeyeon turned around with a bright expression on her face and hugged the other girl tightly. The icy girl was caught by surprise as the shorty spun her around once, “Sooyeon! I’m glad you could make it.”

“Hey guys, this is Jessica. Jessica this is Tiffany and Amber.”

Tiffany waved excitedly at the pretty girl.

The pretty ice princess with the light pink leather jacket bowed, “Nice to meet you.”

Amber grinned at the older girl, “Nice to meet you too, Jessica-unnie.”

“Unnie?” Jessica said in confusion.

Amber chuckled, “Yes, unnie. But I can call you noona if you’d like.”

Jessica just nodded and seemed to have clenched her jaw, “Yeah, okay. Taeyeon forced me to come.”

Taeyeon slyly smiled, “Sica doesn’t like haunted houses so I figured I’d drag her out here.”

That’s so typical of Taeyeon, causing others pain and discomfort. Tiffany didn’t know where her pranking came from. It might be from the influence of other schoolmates or maybe from Amber. There was so much mischievousness hiding underneath her cute childlike mask.

Tiffany thought she didn’t like haunted houses but after walking in with Jessica she found them half enjoyable. Who wouldn’t when you have a pretty girl jumping into your arms screaming at dolphin-pitched decibels? Well, she could go without the screaming but she couldn’t deny Jessica was incredibly cute when she was scared. It felt like they were in the haunted house for so long and Tiffany was so grateful when she saw the exit sign. She could only take so much screaming and she was pretty sure they would get kicked out anyway, cute little, ice princess, Jessica was kicking everything that scared her.

They were outside now and Tiffany had her arms full of a scared Jessica who glowered in anger, “I hate Taeyeon.”

Taeyeon was a few feet away from them with a wide grin on her face and spread her arms wide, “Wasn’t that great?”

A pale faced Amber stared at her cousin with wide eyes and a slight growl escaped , “The clown chased me with a chainsaw, unnie. A chainsaw!”

A giggle escaped the eye smiling girl as she focused on the pretty girl in her arms, “I think we all hate her at one point.”

~

Tiffany and Jessica soon dated after they established their friendship.

“I think you’re really pretty Jessi,” the eye-smiling girl said shyly.

Jessica looked up in surprise with a cute expression on her face, her cheeks flushing a nice shade of pink, “Thank you, Tiff. You’re really pretty too.”

Aigoo, this girl is so cute. It’s now or never!

Tiffany took in a deep breath, “And...I really like you, Jessi.”

The girl blinked, “You-”

“Go out with me,” Tiffany said while holding the brunette’s hands.

Jessica her lips and the blush stayed on her pale face, “I...yes. I’ll go out with you.”

Tiffany was right about Jessica being extremely shy. She never really opened up to people she just met but after being together for awhile, she saw sides of Jessica that not everyone saw. The way she would pout just to get her way and even release some aegyo that nobody knew about. Jessica would easily get mad about things but it was really cute because it just meant that she cared. It was always entertained Tiffany to see Jessica jealous. She was stubborn and never admitted that she was and it was so adorable that sometimes Tiffany would purposely make her girlfriend jealous.

There was this delusion that they would last forever, get married, and have a life together in Tiffany’s mind. Of course, not all relationships last forever and this was Tiffany’s first love so it hurt more than it should have. They lost interest in each other but Tiffany tried to hold onto it for as long as she could. In the end, it was a mutual break up and they still remained friends. Best friends in fact, alongside with Taeyeon, and Amber once the tomboy entered high school.

~

A couple of years later, Tiffany dated Taeyeon in their junior year. They were best friends for so long and it seemed that it was a good idea for them to try it out. It worked out for a while but...

Taeyeon had an arm around Tiffany’s shoulder and was leaning on her quite heavily, “Miyoung-ah, feed me.”

Tiffany pushed Taeyeon off of her, “You feed yourself.”

“Yah, jagiya~ Why are you treating me so harshly?” the shorty pouted with a bit of aegyo.

Jessica rolled her eyes while eating her sandwich and Amber looked on curiously at the pair of best friends.

“I don’t appreciate being pranked,” the pink loving girl said.

Taeyeon wrapped her arm around Tiffany’s waist, “Jagiya~ You know it’s all fun and games.”

A hand came up to push the arm off from around her waist, “You destroyed my project, Tae.”

“It’s only one project,” Taeyeon huffed.

An explosion came from the mushroom haired girl, “Yeah, worth 30% of our grade this quarter!”

Jessica and Amber glanced at each other with raised eyebrows. Okay, so maybe Taeyeon went a little overboard with her last prank. Who were they kidding? Her pranks always went overboard. When was the stupid shorty going to learn?

“Ugh, I don’t even know why I’m dating you,” Tiffany mumbled to herself in disbelief.

“Because I’m cute,” Taeyeon waggled her brows.

She was met with a piece of kimchi to the face. It was like watching a love-hate relationship between the two. You would think after being best friends for so long, they would learn to get along and forgive each other’s faults. That actually might be the reason they didn’t work out, they knew almost everything about each other. Taeyeon managed to crawl underneath Tiffany’s skin so many times that it didn’t come as a surprise when the two broke up. The kid-like girl was a bit too much to handle and Tiffany figured that no matter how cute the girl was, she still needed more time to mature and get her act together.

She could handle her pranks as a best friend but as a girl friend? Taeyeon needed to grow up. She also needed to find the romance within her. You would think a girl with a baby face like that would have some idea of romance. But no, no she didn’t. Her mind was full of erseness and millions ideas of pranks that would get her in trouble. Yeah, they had to stay as best friends, only. They worked best like that.

~

Tiffany was eighteen when she met fourteen-year-old Krystal. She was the cutest thing ever.

They were gathering today to practice for the school’s talent show. It was their senior year and they figured they should finish strong with a lasting impression. The group of friends figured they would manage that with a cover of a popular song. They were going to do the actual singing and they even had Amber rapping for them.

It was just the three of them in the garage and Taeyeon kept glancing over at the garage door. Tiffany was sitting on a beanbag while Amber was lying on the floor which reminded Tiffany of the time she first met the blonde tomboy. Yes, Amber had dyed her hair a striking blonde and it was cut really short this time. Tiffany had grown her hair out and eventually gave into dyeing her hair too. She however dyed it black and got bangs to match it.

Taeyeon was a bit fidgety in her corner and Tiffany rolled her eyes at the shorty with pepero-like hair. She was probably up to something and the eye-smiling queen had no energy to figure out what it was. She just had to make sure she didn’t discover Taeyeon’s prank.

“Sica-noona’s bringing her little sister with her today,” Amber said from her spot on the floor of the garage.

“Oh? She’s bringing Soojung?” Taeyeon asked with glee.

Tiffany paused in her thoughts and furrowed her brows, “You know her little sister?”

Amber smiled brightly at the girl sitting on the bean bag, “Krystal came here last summer while you were in California. She actually just transferred here, she’s even in my elective class.”

“Aaaand, she’s really cute,” the annoying pepero haired girl dragged out the a in her sentence.

Tiffany blushed, “Would you stop that?”

“Stop what? She’s cute. You like cute things and besides, if I wasn’t already taken...” Taeyeon waggled her eyebrows suggestively.

Figures. The stupid shorty would have such byuntae thoughts even with a girlfriend.

“Unnie, that’s just wrong,” Amber said with a frown.

Taeyeon ruffled Amber’s hair, “Aigoo, is that jealousy I detect, Ambro?”

The tomboy hissed and fixed her short blonde hair as she turned her head to hide her blush, “Aish, Unnie!”

Tiffany rolled her eyes at Taeyeon’s childish antics. Their conversation was cut short when the garage door rolled open to reveal two beautiful girls. One of them being Jessica and the other being her little sister, Krystal. She was tall with cat like features and as Taeyeon told her, extremely cute. Krystal was wearing short shorts, a white off-shoulder shirt, and a plaid sweater tied around her waist. Similar to Jessica all those years ago, she had an icy look on her face that Tiffany knew was just from nerves. Aigoo, this girl is shy just like Jessi!

“Taengoo, are you misbehaving again?” Jessica had a glare on her face as she entered the garage.

“Me? Misbehaving? Never,” Taeyeon said in an exaggerated manner; her hands waving around with a huge grin on her face.

Krystal stepped forward with her sister and tripped over a string. The said string was one of Taeyeon’s prank traps and caused a bucket of pink paint to spill over and land directly above Krystal. The poor kid stood in the middle of the garage with pink paint all over her body. There was complete silence amongst the group of friends before someone broke it.

“Oh, damn. That was not supposed to be for you,” Taeyeon said with wide eyes. Her arms came up towards Krystal and she waved them in some sort of apology.

Jessica looked over to her shocked sister who looked like she wanted to disappear. The blonde focused her furious eyes on the pranking shorty, “Taengoo...”

Taeyeon was nervous as she noticed the fiery glare in the blonde’s eyes. The shorty looked around the garage desperately, trying to find an escape route from Hellsica, “Sicababy...stay calm.”

“Stay calm?! You pranked my baby sister, Kim Taeyeon! When I get my hands on you!” Jessica never ran. Well, there was always an exception that rule. The blonde was currently chasing the pepero haired girl on a mad rampage.

Taeyeon tried using Amber as a shield and ended up running around the garage to avoid her furious girlfriend, “It was an April fool’s joke Sicababy! A joke! Babe, stop. Stop!”

Jessica finally managed to tackle the shorty and held her in a tight headlock, “Say sorry, Kim Taeyeon!”

Taeyeon was tapping the ground furiously, gasping for air, “I...I-I’m...s-sorry. S-soo...jung! Sica...baby! C-can’t...breaaaaathe.”

“Good! You deserve it!” Jessica growled in frustration at her girlfriend, her arms remaining firm around the prankster’s neck, not alleviating any of the pressure.

Tiffany stepped towards the pink covered girl and her eyes sort of sparkled at the sight. The paint wasn’t exactly the greatest thing but this cute girl was covered in pink. Tiffany’s favorite color. Hmm, maybe Taeyeon’s prank wasn’t so bad afterall.

“Hey, I’m Tiffany. I know you already met Taetae so you should know about her pranks. Here, let me help you out,” she eye smiled as she held out a towel for the other girl to use.

If she wasn’t already covered in paint, you would have seen Krystal blush, “Th-thank you Tiffany-unnie.”

“Now come on, we should have no problems using Taetae’s shower,” the older girl glanced over to the corner of the room.

It seemed that Jessica had Taeyeon in some sleeper hold and the prankster’s face was turning purple, “Yeah, she’s a bit busy. Let’s go?”

Krystal looked down at the hand that was offered to her and she smiled shyly before holding it in her own. There was an undeniable spark that occurred when their skin came into contact and a slight jolt in her heartbeat. Tiffany smiled and gently led the younger girl to the bathroom.

~

Years passed and the trio graduated from high school, Amber followed two years later. It was only Krystal now who was left to graduate from their little group of friends. Tiffany was in her last two years of college and she was surprised when she got a call from her favorite dongsaeng. She was pleasantly surprised when the younger girl asked if they could meet and now, here they were.

Krystal stood in front of Tiffany in her school uniform, her hands were behind her back and her feet shuffled nervously. Aigoo, she looks so cute.

“I...I know I’m still in highschool but I just turned eighteen and that makes me an adult. Well, in America I’m an adult. So. Umm,” Krystal tried to gather her thoughts.

Tiffany patiently stood there with an eye-smile on her face, “Yes, mmhmm. Go on.”

The younger girl took in a deep breath as she tried to control her nerves, “So that means I can uh...do things that I want and stuff. Because I’m an adult. You’re an adult too. So, our ages shouldn't matter because we’re both adults.”

Nodding her head, Tiffany urged Krystal to continue her speech. She was eager to know where this conversation was going. Also, Krystal was acting so damn cute in front of her. Like a blushing elementary school boy talking to his pretty teacher.

Krystal adjusted her stance and glanced up at Tiffany before focusing her gaze on the floor, “Will...will you have dinner...with me?”

Cute.

Krystal was incredibly cute.

This was the first time someone was asking her out. From someone she has had serious feelings for that she’s been suppressing. Krystal. Was asking her out. Not the other way around.

“Yes.”

~

Tiffany walked into the cafe with a bright smile on her face. It was their weekly gathering to just catch up with each other. Everyone was out of college except for Krystal who was in her last semester of college. She made her way further into the cafe as she tried to find her friends.

“Fany-ah!” a redhead waved from a secluded corner.

Her eyes disappeared into crescents as she saw her girlfriend, “Krystal honey!”

It seemed like she was the last to arrive at the table and she took a seat in the booth right next to Krystal. She gave her a light peck on the lips and turned towards the rest of the table. It was a rather huge booth and they had grown accustomed to its seclusion.

“Yah, Miyoung-ah, you’re late,” her annoying best friend said while she had her arm wrapped around her girlfriend.

“Taeng, be nice.”

Ah, Taeyeon’s sweet girlfriend. She was the reason why they sat in this secluded booth. She was Im Yoona, the upcoming and rising model/actress that Taeyeon met a couple years ago and started dating. The girl was extremely beautiful but underneath that exterior was a hidden prankster. She was very playful but Tiffany learned that the actress had her best friend wrapped around her pretty little finger.

“Ow, jagi~!” Taeyeon twitched a little when her girlfriend pinched her.

Tiffany clapped her hands in laughter, “Did I tell you how much I love you, Yoona?”

“Once or twice,” she said in amusement.

“Yah! Quit hitting on my girlfriend, Miyoung!” Taeyeon growled.

Krystal pouted beside her, “Fany-ah...what about me?”

“Aigoo, you’re so cute Krystal honey. I love you like no other,” Tiffany intertwined their fingers and gave the younger girl a full kiss on the lips.

A swift kick was delivered to Tiffany’s shin and she had to pull back from Krystal, “Ow, ow, ow, ow!”

Krystal grew worried and the redhead tried to comfort her ailing girlfriend. She turned to glare at the ginger responsible for hurting her girlfriend, “Unnie! You didn’t have to kick her.”

“Yes, I did. I don’t want to see my sister swapping saliva with anyone in front of me,” Jessica huffed.

“It’s not like I complain when you’re making out with Amber-oppa,” Krystal pointed out.

“You’re still calling her oppa?” Taeyeon asked.

“I called her oppa for as long as she called unnie, noona,” the redhead said.

“You don’t call me noona, anymore, right seobang?” Jessica leaned against the samurai-haired girl.

Amber kissed the top of the ginger’s head, “Ne, saeksi.”

Tiffany curled her fingers together, “I don’t know why you guys are calling each other that.”

Yoona laughed as she leaned against Taeyeon, “Who wouldn’t? I mean, their wedding is coming pretty soon. Oh, I’d be excited too if I was getting married. It’d be really nice to get married while I’m still young.”

Taeyeon just nodded along, “Yeah, that’s nice.”

Everyone at the table rolled their eyes at the oblivious shorty who once again missed the hints that Yoona was giving her.

“Ow, ow, jagi~ You’re squeezing my arm too hard!” Taeyeon whimpered.

They all laughed at her expense but Krystal turned to Amber, “But Amber-oppa, why do you call unnie, saeksi. I mean, can’t you just call her jagiya?”

Amber smiled, “She calls me seobang, it’s only fair I call her saeksi. Besides, she is extremely y.”

Jessica kissed Amber’s cheek while everyone internally gagged at their cheesiness, “You guys are all set to go to the wedding rehearsal next month, right?”

“Ne, I’m excited for you, unnie!” Krystal said with a glimmer in her eyes, causing Yoona to jump into the conversation. Everyone conversed freely and with ease, just like they did all those years ago.

Tiffany smiled softly as she glanced at Krystal. Her purse had never felt so heavy before as she thought of the ring she bought. It was a pretty ring. A cute ring. Just like her beloved Krystal. Soojungie. Honey. Only a few more months. After she graduated from college would Tiffany ask for her hand in marriage. Jessica glanced at her from across the table with a knowing smile. Yes, she had her blessing, and now all she had to do was wait.

“And I’m excited for you to graduate, Krystal honey,” Tiffany joined the conversation with the black box that was hidden in her purse on her mind. That and the idea of a life with Krystal Jung Soojung. Living in a pink house with three adorable little children. For the rest of their lives.

A/N: Yeah. I don’t know what I was thinking.

You know how in a close group of friends you sort of end up dating each other at one point? Yeah, there’s part of that in here. Lol. Anyway, forgive me for the poor storyline and structure. It was just me typing out whatever came to mind. Hence, this is the result. For those waiting for my Triangle story update, I’m working on it. :) Also, keep an eye out for another fic or two that’s been swimming around my brain.

Something I do for every chapter/story I post is that I share something about myself. Haha. That’s what the AuthorFact is all about.

AuthorFact: Krystal is indeed by bias in f(x) quickly followed by Amber. I’ve already revealed that Kryber is what pulled me into the Kpop world. They’re also one of my OTPs so it’s kind of funny that I just wrote a Krysfany one-shot. Then again, I ship so many pairings it’s ridiculous.
