“Alright! Does everyone have their bags?” Suho called out into the apartment, duffle bag swung over his shoulder. Random shouts came from all over the apartment as the rest of the boys came scrambling out.

“Yeah, we’re ready now,” Kyungsoo yelled from his room, stumbling out with his over sized bag. Chanyeol helped him with it while confirming that he also had his things packed.

“Kids!” Suho yelled again, this time Sehun and Tao came hurrying out with sheepish grins. “Do you have everything packed?” Suho questioned, shouldering his bag which was becoming heavier by the second.

“Yup!” Sehun chirped and made his way towards the front door, the others following along.

“Good, Kris is already down in the van so let’s get moving!” Suho ordered before turning and marching out the door, the others following along loudly.

 Today was the start of EXO’s short break, and they were going to spend it camping. Not all of them though, Yixing and Luhan were off to visit some friends while Baekhyun, Minseok, Jongin and Jongdae would be taking a trip to the hot springs. A week wasn’t that long, but the boys were going to make the most of it. So, the six of them crammed into the company van and drove off to God knows where, (Kris insisted he knew a nice camping site, but the others were sure they’d get lost and killed.) and spent the next 3 hours driving through the country side. After their very long and rather hellish trip, the boys had finally reached a lovely camp site out in the magical forest of where-ever-the-.

“OH THANK GOD FINALLY!” Sehun practically flew out of the van, dramatically falling to the forest floor, the others following after him, just a little less dramatically.

“Oh cut it out. We made three pit stops you baby!” Kyungsoo huffed, stretching his arms above his head.

“Euughh,” Sehun responded unattractively.

“Okay, come on. Pick yourself up and help us unload,” Kris said, walking over to Sehun and hauling him to his feet. Sehun groaned but complied; the six of them got to work unloading the car and hauling their things to a suitable camp site. They set up their tents (really badly at first) and then split into pairs to do certain jobs. Of course Kyungsoo was stuck dealing with the food and Suho got ditched cleaning things up.  The others went off to collect fire wood and rocks to make the camp fire. It took a few hours and some band aids, but they were finally done.

“Ah~ Finally! We should eat something,” Chanyeol announced as he sat down on the log next to Kris, warming up his hands by the fire.

“Yeah, I’m starving,” Tao agreed, poking at the fire with a stick.

“How about we eat hot dogs?” Kyungsoo asked the group, already beginning to stand. The others murmured in agreement and got up to help Kyungsoo pull out the food. They roasted hot dogs and told stories for the next hour until the sun was setting, and the mosquitoes were out to eat them alive. It was a fun first day, filled with laughter and general stupidity...

“Well... I’m going to call it a night; it’s been a long day...” Suho yawned and stood up slowly, dusting off his pants. Kris yawned and stood up as well.

“Yeah, I’m beat. You kids don’t stay up too long alright?” Kris gave the other four a stern look before following Suho to their shared tent.

They stayed up for a short while longer telling stories and giggling quietly to themselves, being careful not to wake their snoring leaders.

Kyungsoo stretched his legs out and placed his hands behind his head and let out a tired sigh, “Well I think it’s about time for sleep, don’tcha think Channie... Channie?”

Kyungsoo looked to where Chanyeol was sitting and found him curled up like a kitten on the leaves. The three still awake let out a simultaneous “awww” before Kyungsoo slapped him lightly on his leg, “Yah, wake up!”

Chanyeol woke up with a snort; he groggily rolled about before sitting up and stretching, accidentally placing his right arm directly in the camp fire, setting his sleeve ablaze.

“KYAAAA HOLY SOMEONE PUT ME OUT!” Chanyeol screeched and waved his flaming arm about like a... Well like someone whose arm was on fire.

Kyungsoo squeaked and launched himself at Chanyeol, tackling him to the earth and slapping at his sleeve trying to put out the flames; the two of them squawking loudly at each other.

“I’M ON IT!” Sehun jumped up from his spot and grabbed the bucket of water they would have used to douse the camp fire, emptying the entire contents onto the screaming boys.

The two of them sat there in silence, sopping wet and one still on top of the other.

It was at that point that Tao who had been a spectator of the event, collapsed into tears, rolling about and laughing so hard he could barely breathe.

Kyungsoo sat there on top of Chanyeol, his hair sticking to his face and dripping immensely.

Chanyeol looked up at the boy on top of him, “Ahem,”

“OH! Sorry!” Kyungsoo blushed and awkwardly climbed off of Chanyeol, skittering away into his tent to dry off.

There was a quiet rustling sound and Suho emerged from his tent, “Guys what’s with all the noise? Is everything alright?”

“EVERYTHINGISFINESUHOGOBACKTOSLEEP!” Sehun squeaked and flew over, shoving Suho back into his tent by his face and zipping it back up. There was a small “okay” from inside the tent which earned a small chortle from Sehun as he plopped down on the dirt next to Tao who was still in tears.

Chanyeol flipped his sopping hair out of his face and silently waddled back to the tent he shared with Kyungsoo.

Now that is was just the two of them, Sehun and Tao sat in the warm glow of the fire, occasionally bursting into small fits of laughter having remembered the incident with the flaming Chanyeol.

The two sat in a comfortable silence for a while when Sehun noticed that Tao had dozed off on his shoulder.

“Hey,” Sehun nudged him softly and stood up, “Yah, c’mon. It’s time for sleep,”

Tao nodded groggily and held out his hand, rubbing his eyes with the other.

Sehun smiled slightly and took Tao’s hand, pulling him up too his feet and leading him off to their tent.

Tao snuggled up in his sleeping bag and almost instantly fell asleep.

Sehun opened his bag to find his phone, curious to see just how late they had stayed up.

“Ah, where the hell is it,” Sehun whispered in frustration and began tossing his belongings all over the tent.

One of Sehun’s t-shirts flew across the tent, landing directly on Tao’s face, stirring him from his nap, “Yah, Sehun-ah, what in god’s name are you doing?”

Sehun continued digging through his bag, “I’ve lost my phone,” He pulled out a flashlight and switched it on, “I must’ve dropped it when we went hiking or something, I’m going to go look for it,”

Tao pushed his hair out of his eyes and sat up, “Hold on a sec, I’ll come with you,”

“It’s okay, hun. You’re tired, go back to sleep, I’ll go look for it,”

Tao pouted, “No. You’re not going out there by yourself. You could get eaten by a bear, at least of you have me with you I can wushu its furry ,”

Sehun giggled at the boy, “Fine, grab a flashlight and let’s go,”

Tao cheered silently, grabbing his flashlight and following Sehun out into the night.

“It’s got to be around here somewhere. It has too! Were the hell could it be!” Sehun griped and continued to shine his light on the surrounding foliage.

“Hunnie, calm down; we’ll find it, I promise,”

“Yeah, okay. This is the way we came right?”

“Um, yeah I think so. See the camp is right over-” Tao pointed his flashlight in what he thought was the direction of the campsite; which of course turned out to be nothing but the trunk of a large tree.

“Bu- but... we came from... we... I. Um...” Tao shone his light frantically around the forest.

“. Man we’re lost,” Sehun placed his hand on his hip and pinched the bridge of his nose.

Tao shook his head, “What? No, we can’t be lost; I swear the camp was right there!”

“Shhh, Zi not so loud,” Sehun yell whispered and grabbed Tao’s wrist, “What if there are others out here?” He gasped dramatically, “Or a bear!”

Tao giggled cutely, “Okay, cut it out. Let’s try to find our way back, I’m getting sleepy,”

“Alright, let’s try to find out way out of this mess,” Sehun looked around, surrounded by nothing but the forest rustling in the soft breeze.

“Which way should we go?”

“Um... that way? Maybe?”

“Yeah. Alright” Sehun shrugged and towed Tao off into the brush.

“Well this looks familiar as ,” Sehun said as they hung a left around a tree stump for probably the third time.

“I know,” Tao scratched the back of his head, “We’re more than lost now, we’re legally missing,”

Sehun snickered, “Well, I think I can hear water over there, if we camp out near a sort of landmark it’ll be easier for the others to find us in the morning,”

“You raise a valid point,” Tao nodded and they began crunching through the piles of fallen leaves and twigs towards the rushing water.

Once they arrived the two were greeted by the most beautiful waterfall they had ever seen. The water was clear as glass, making it possible to see the rock beneath it; the moonlight shining like an abstract work of art, constantly changing with the movement of the water. The sight was truly breathtaking.

“Woah...” Sehun breathed out, watching the scenery in amazement, Tao standing at his side in silence.

“I think this is a pretty good place to camp out, don't'cha think?” Tao said, grinning at Sehun and nudging him with his elbow.

“Yeah, this place is... unbelievable,” Sehun murmured as Tao took his hand and lead him to some large boulders. Tao climbed up first before pulling Sehun after him and settling down. Sehun sat down next to him with his legs crossed and eyes trained on the water ahead of them.

“Getting lost wasn't the worst thing that could have happened to us I think...” Sehun said, laughing quietly,

“No, not at all,” Tao agreed, chuckling softly. He moved closer to Sehun and leaned against him, enjoying his warmth. Sehun leaned back against Tao in response to his actions and the two just sat their enjoying the others presence. Tao s an arm around Sehun's waist and leaned his cheek on top of the others head, sighing happily.

“Taozi... I'm really tired, can we sleep now?” Sehun asked quietly, clearly exhausted.

“Of course, it won't be very comfortable though...” Tao mumbled, readjusting his sweater. Sehun shrugged and lied down on his back, arms folded behind his head and his chest rising and falling slowly as he exhaled.

“Wah... Look at the stars!” Sehun whispered, eyes sparkling as he looked up. Tao joined Sehun in his star gazing, he grinned when the beautiful night sky came into focus.

“It's amazing,” Tao sighed, linking arms with Sehun, who intern turned to smile at him.

“Taozi, do I ever tell you I love you? I don't think I do it enough, so I love you~” Sehun grinned at the other boy lovingly, his bangs falling to the side.

Tao grinned back, the corners of his eyes crinkling cutely, “I love you too Sehunnie, and no, you don’t tell me enough,” He poked the other boy on the cheek making him giggle. Sehun grabbed Tao’s hand and laced their fingers together, smiling brightly.

“I guess I’ll have to tell you more often then, hmm?” He asked, nuzzling his head into Tao’s shoulder. Tao’s grip on his hand tightened a little and suddenly let go, using it to push up off the ground, Tao swung his leg over Sehun and now had a knees on either side of Sehun’s waist and his hands at the sides of Sehun’s head. Neither spoke as Tao hovered over the other, dark eyes looking down at Sehun’s moonlit ones.

Tao slowly leaned forward and stopped inches from the others face, “I love you...” He murmured before pressing his lips to Sehun’s softly. Sehun tilted his head and kissed back, bringing a hand to the back of Tao’s neck. They stayed like that kissing for a few moments until Tao pulled away and sat back, crossing his legs. He pulled Sehun up with him and the boy straddled him, arms winding around his neck as Tao’ wrapped around his waist.

Tao parted his lips and Sehun slipped his tongue inside, their tongues tangling together in a hot mess. They continued this way for a little while long until they had to part to catch their breath, Sehun’s head pressed into the crook of Tao’s neck as he panted softly. Tao bit his lip, trying hard not to smile like an idiot but he couldn’t help if he was beyond happy. He brought a hand up and gently Sehun’s arm, squeezing his shoulder gently. Sehun pulled back so he could look at Tao’s face, cupping the others face with his hands. He pecked Tao’s lips again before leaning his forehead against the other’s, smiling as he swiped his thumbs across Tao’s cheek bones, “I think getting lost tonight was a very good thing...”  Sehun said, chuckling to himself and Tao laughed along.

The two of them rolled about and eventually ended up lying back down on the cool stones, Sehun’s head rested on Tao’s chest, “You know, Hunnie,” Tao said, running his fingers though Sehun’s soft hair, “We could stay like this you know, just the two of us. We could spend our days in each other’s arms, just gazing at the stars,”

“Taozi that sounds more than perfect but I don’t think the fans would appreciate it very much, let alone the members,”

Tao pouted cutely, “Just for tonight then?”

Sehun tilted his head up and kissed a line from Tao's jaw up to his temple, stopping at his ear he whispered, “Just for tonight,”

When the sun rose the next morning, it was accompanied by a thin layer of fog; the air was a tad bit chilly but the sky remained clear, promising a nice day ahead. The peaceful silence of the forest was disrupted by random yelps and braches snapping as Kris and his bumbling idiots went crashing through the underbrush.

“Jesus Christ, watch where you step!” Kris snapped when Kyungsoo stepped on a stick that lay on the forest floor, launching one end of it right into Kris’ crotch. Kris half sobbed as he held his aching balls.

“Oh my God! I’m so sorry!” Kyungsoo squeaked, hurrying ahead to catch up with Chanyeol. After Suho made sure Kris would still be able to walk, they continued their trek through the trees. They finally stumbled into a small clearing and came face-to-face with a breath taking water fall.

Oh, and would you look at that, Tao and Sehun were there as well.

“OH MY LAWD MY BABIES!” Suho shrieked and dove into the two of them, hugging a half asleep Tao to his chest.

“Ermmmpphhhh- SUHO I CAN’T BREATH!” Tao cried out, prying himself away from the older, who inturn flopped over and attacked Sehun.

“Where the hell have you guys- SUHO CAN YOU NOT, I’M TRYING TO SCOLD THEM!” Kris squawked at Suho, only to be pushed aside as Chanyeol and Kyungsoo launched themselves at the pile of sobbing Suho.

“AGH- stop! I can’t- I CAN’T BREATH!” Sehun cried out as he was crushed beneath his friends, all of them talking at once and trying to figure out where the pair had disappeared to.

“Will you guys please stop screa- WHOA!” Kris was suddenly cut off by Chanyeol grabbing his wrist and yanking him into the tangled heap on the ground.

Kris stared at the boys in shock and quickly regressed into a laughing mess along with the other five who continued to squeal and roll about on top of each other.

After the squeaking had died down the boys lied there on the stones, panting and smiling to themselves.

Suho propped himself up on his elbows, “We should do this again some time,”

The others nodded in agreement and Tao looked at Sehun, shooting him a quick wink, “Yeah, I think so too.”
