Red Season (Paused)

Description

Welcome to -tastethelime's very first story!

Hue, I won't do that third person commercial thing I've seen some people do, but yeah, this is my first story. I worked somewhat really hard on this - like super, duper hard - and it's kind of one of those stories that reminds you of a cheesy Korean drama, only it's on the computer and not the TV... whatever, anyways, you'll notice that I'm not very familiar with the Korea language as I am of Californian descent (American), so there will be probably a lot of mistakes but feel free to correct me!

I'm pretty much open to any and all criticism; however, do not take this chance to hate on me, because I will report you without hesitation. I might give you a warning, but after that, pzzt, reported. Other than that, I'm confident that a lot of the people on this website are user-friendly and hope you will welcome me with open arms. Also if you want to get to know me, shoot me a PM! I'll respond as soon as I can since I'm a very busy girl, but bear with me, please.

And if you have any questions you wish for me to answer, you can put a message in the comments below or, again, shoot me a PM. (Though the latter would be preferred as I might not see your comment because I'm a doof, but it's up to you!)

But enough about me (I'll post a blog introducing myself that will be pretty much similar to the above), let's talk about the story since I kinda got distracted... orz. Well, I was playing this dress up game called 'Red Season', and I started thinking up ideas I could use for a story and around this time, I began listening to Smoky Girl by MBLAQ. And it all went from there. I started toying with plots and scraping them and rinse and repeat until I finally got to one I actually liked! But that wasn't even the hard part; the hard part was coming up with the main character!

Kim Gyeong was a difficult character to draft up, but eventually, after drawing inspiration for her looks from Lee Min Young of miss A, I got the little details down. She's not your average female protangonist if I say so myself. Gyeong is a very cynical, prideful, and impatient person. She's also a control freak and doesn't know how to keep her gob shut, but she's a good friend and is very intelligent as she is a fashion prodigy, excelling in art, mathematics, and home economics. Therefore, she tends to became a royal pain in the since her ego gets too big. She's also tight on punctuality. Gyeong's interests and hobbies are what define her though; they're her passion since sketching and designing are the only things she's good at, really. She works hard and is stubborn to the end. Gyeong hates sweets, procrasinators, dogs, and stupidity, but likes spicy food, praise, cats, fashion, and books. Her hobbies mainly consist of reading, sketching, and designing. She's fully Korean, no half, no third quarters, she's full Korean, and she stands at five feet and weighs exactly 100 ilbs. Gyeong is lactose intolerant and is allergic to dogs, latex, bees, and dimetap.

And then there was Gyeong's love interest, Choi Haneul, whose looks would be drawn from Yang Seungho of MBLAQ. He was going to be the exact opposite of Gyeong; lazy, disorganized, sloppy, yet calm, patient, and a good leader. He's going to be a model and a big obstacle for Gyeong to overcome. I haven't really gotten much on him yet, so he'll be saved for later.

Since I've already rambled too much and wasted your precious time, I'm going to go ahead and send you to the foreword so you know more of the plot.

Thanks for reading!
