Description

After spending years upon years on a path of vengeance, Howon finds peace amongst a group of demons, even though he once declared war against all of demonkind. This peace, however, is now at risk of being destroyed, and it may be too late by the time Howon figures out why.

Inspired by the Gilbert ring and the end of Alaric's storyline from the Vampire Diaries. Title is a song name, and is also Icelandic for "death of calm".

OKAY I TAKE BACK WHAT I SAID IN THE PREVIOUS COMMENT THIS STORY IS EXACTLY MY STYLE IT'S PERFECT OKAY PERFECTTTT omg so it's really hoya. /sobs. His life was miserable enough and just when everything started to fall back to place, his hunter instict just had to get in the way. Ugh. Feel sad for both hoya and dongwoo. The feeling of betrayal by your beloved was the worst but dongwoo forgave hoya anyway because of love. And hoya would never forgive himself for what he'd done also because of love. At least he could rest in peace now. This story is really amazing!

Chapter 2: Wow! From the first sentence to the last, I read them all in just one breath. Okay, I'm exaggerated lol but seriously your writing is very smooth and fluid it hooks me in. There's no place for distraction or whatsoever. And even though I prefer stories with more details, like, when Hoya set off to kill those demons it would be nice if you emphasized the pain and the hatred he felt all these years when he's facing them etc., I think the vague way you described them works for me too. And is it gonna be a short or long fic? Anw, you're really really great! Can't wait to read the next part! ❤
