Guys, FINALLY. An oneshot with my ship, a story about my favorite idiots, a story about the prince by heart and prince by looks, A STORY STARRING MYUNGYEOL OKAY. My one true pairing; my favorite pairing above anything else (don't make me decide between YeolSul and MyungYeol though), the ship that will sail no matter how much MyungJong exists, because this ship is undeniable strong. It's canon but who cares even? This ship is literal perfection; it sails more flawlessly than anything else and I will just ignore the Ranking King Era. Or hey, maybe I won't. Why?  The letter, guys. Proof enough that this ship will sail no matter what ; proof enough that this ship will overcome any obstacle. Any. (Myungsoo's letter to Sungjong was stupid, or rather, soopid.)

(And the letter Myungsoo wrote to Sungyeol as he left – "because Sungyeol is mine that's why!" GUYS THIS SHIP IS BEING SAILED BY THEMSELVES I CRY HAPPY TEARS.)

This oneshot goes to all my fellow shippers, because they're awesome. This oneshot goes to all eLements, because stanning Myungsoo is harder than stanning L; this oneshot goes to all Yeollipops, because the boy needs Myungsoo's love, and the Sungyeol-biased guys I know are nice. But most importantly, this oneshot goes to all who live in the gold ocean of Infinite, because I love you all and I'm so so so proud to be part of this fandom!

The title is based on my favorite song these days, Vanilla Twilight by Owl City. The story itself takes place in July 2011, where Infinite filmed Sesame Player and Myungsoo his drama in Japan (so it's before the comeback). Since it's MyungYeol, please expect some gay tensions (though I think that it isn't really a problem, heh.)

I really like conversation between Myungsoo and Sungyeol. It's a bit childish but I can see their feelings for each other.

Chapter 1: This is so beautiful, I cried my heart out for this because sungyeol is just this one boy who keeps on nagging about his lack of lines in their songs and myungsoo is just this one boy who doesn't wants any spotlight shone at him because he thinks everyone else deserves the same too.

And oh my god, I love this.

Also, I just want to say you for those who said sungyeol is useless in infinite.

He's more than we all ever asked for so you may shut up now

Chapter 1: This was amazing. I love how you depicted both Myung and Sungyeol. While these sides of them are somewhat sad to read, it's nice from the childish or cold image of the couple. And them telling stories to each other was so sweet :3 This just had the right amount of fluff without being overly sweet. And the couple last lines about the twilight and how Myung didn't feel so alone was amazing. You're such a good writer^^

Chapter 1: Oddly enough I don't feel any ounce of Owl City in this fic. Vanilla twilight has that sickeningly sweet, romance-cutesy vibe to it, a type of song that translates to a romance-fluff fic while this comes off as angsty and drama-ish for me. (Damn! I sound like a person who nitpicks stuff but I hope you understand my point.)

You write good. But I'm not really into fics that is somewhat a meta of the Myungsoo and L dichotomy, wherein Myungsoo is solely this sweet, cutesy guy while L is this reserved and quiet guy. People would then say, "Oh he's being L and on this one he's Myungsoo." It's fun at first, but when people start dismissing L as a complete facade and Myungsoo is nothing but a sweet, cute, bubbly, innocent guy. That's when I feel like arguing with people. If I feel like it.

L is nothing but a representation of Infinite's current image. Not the quiet and serious guy everyone typecasted him as. Man In Love, Nothing's Over and She's back- cutesy but still L.

(OMG! What urged me to rant? I have no idea. I'm sorry.)
