"are you ok?" chunji said as he came into angel's room...

"hmmm"  niel nodded as he puts his baby down on her crib "i thought i was going to break..you know how i was with him..but when i saw him..i felt angry.."

"that's natural..he's a bastard anyway...come on..ricky cooked dinner..." chunji said

niel put on the baby monitor and followed chunji to the dining area..

ricky and changjo was there..ljoe just woke up from a nap...

"hyung..is angel sleeping?" ricky asked as he puts the last of the food that he cooked on the table

"yeah.. thanks for taking care of her today ricky..you too chunji hyung..." niel smiled

"no problem dear..you know i love to have angel around" chunji smiled back as he reached for some chicken

 

"changjo..how long have you worked for him?" ljoe asked

"about 8 months? he fired about 4 assistants before me.. who only lasted weeks or  a month because he said they were no where close to his longest assistant...though he said so far i was the closest " changjo said

"of course no one will get close to how i was" ljoe smirked

"hyung..you mean you worked for minsoo hyung before?"

"seeing he allowed you to call him hyung i guess he likes you... yeah i was his assistant before when he was still VP...i left though when he became a bastard"

"huh?"

"oh sorry.. this is not my story to tell.." ljoe smiled

"it's mine..." niel said.."minsoo and i were... lovers..but one day he decided he loves some chick and left me.."

"oh..i'm sorry...i never thought hyung is that kind of person..he left his wife because she cheated on him..." changjo explained

"karma is a i see" chunji said "bastard deserves it"

"it could have been over..i could have moved on but i found out i was pregnant..my world crumbled luckily chunji and ljoe hyung was there with me..." niel continued

"hyung are you one of those special cases?" ricky asked..

"yeah..i am.."

"so hyung.. you mean Angel is Minsoo hyung's daughter?" changjo asked

"no..Angel is my daughter...ALONE" niel emphasized the last word..changjo and ricky understood what he meant..Minsoo might be the father but Niel was too angry at him "changjo..i'll ask this as a favor..please don't tell him that angel is his daughter..angel doesn't need a heartless bastard to be his father..."

"yeah...chunji appa and ljoe appa are here anyway" chunji said with a grin

"hmm..i understand hyung..i respect your decision" changjo smiled..he didn't want to lie to minsoo but he understood niel too

after dinner..ricky called everyone over to the living room..

"here hyungs..." he handed some white envelopes the contained an invitation to ricky and changjo's wedding

"oh my god!!!!! my baby cousin is getting married..." chunji squeeled

"niel hyung.. is it ok if angel will be our flower girl pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" ricky pouted so cutely niel didn't even think twice

"of course..that would be great ricky yah..." niel smiled

minsoo never met niel again after their first meeting.. everything between the companies were done by other employees...

"hyung..i wanted to give you this" changjo smiled

"oh finally tying the knot i see..congratulations changjo" minsoo smiled

"i hope you will be there hyung..i'll appreciate it a lot..."

"will niel be there?"

"yeah.. ricky asked for his daughter to be the flower girl..."

"oh i see.."

the wedding happened 4 months after the invitations were given out..it was simple but beautiful..

niel had to carry angel down the aisle and he also had to stop the baby from putting the flowers in which everyone found adorable

ricky and changjo were a crying mess all through out the ceremony which was very touching..

a reception followed at one of the grand hotels in seoul..

"congratulations ricky, changjo..i'm sorry i had missed the church ceremony" minsoo shook the hands of the couple

"it's ok hyung..as long as you made it here.." changjo smiled

minsoo was happily talking to the couple when niel came in with chunji carrying angel..their eyes met but niel looked away quickly...

"oh chunji and niel hyung are here...hi angel" ricky said as the two approached him

"sorry we had to make a quick stop at home ricky.. my nanny forgot angel's bag" niel smiled

"it's ok hyung..common ill show you to your seats..."

unfortunately Niel, chunji and ljoe was seated with minsoo well because changjo caused an "accident" in the seating arrangement...

"it's been a long time ..it's nice to see all of you again" minsoo greeted

"to me it's not...really" chunji scoffed but ljoe squeezed his hand reminding him to behave since this is ricky and changjo's event

"it's nice to see you again Mr. bang" ljoe forced a smile..minsoo flinched at ljoe's words..he never called him like that before..it was always hyung..but he understood..maybe ljoe was still mad at him

"hi niel..."

"hello minsoo" niel replied without smiling

"beautiful daughter..."

"thanks..."

minsoo couldn't help but be sad at how cold niel was to him..it's like the other was irked by his presence

angel began to cry because of the loudness of the event.. she was a baby after all who was not used to this kinds of things...

"niel..tell your nanny to bring angel up to the room i booked..i predicted this would happened..angel doesn't like loud noises..." ljoe said handing niel the key card...

niel took it and took the nanny and angel up to the hotel room

"you seem like to know the child very well" minsoo said in attempt to start a conversation with his old friends

"yeah..angel is like our own daughter.. we have been there for niel and her since she was born..so i care for her a lot" ljoe responded

"unlike his douche father" chunji mumbled but got elbowed by ljoe

"huh?" minsoo eyed the two.."by the way where is the child's father?" minsoo knew niel's special case..so he didn't even think about a possible mother

"he's dead.." niel replied as he sat down

there was no more conversation after that...

ricky and changjo's wedding reception was full of music and laughter... everybody had fun and for  a moment the tense atmosphere between niel and minsoo was a little forgotten

"hi everyone..thank you for coming to this special event..we appreciate everyone for sharing this special moment with us...now we have a special request to a friend..who i learned just the other night he has a wonderful..wonderful voice..." ricky looked around and then found the table where his cousin is "niel hyung..will you sing as a song?" ricky smiled his cutest smile and niel could only nod..how can he ever refuse that cute face

"everyone..Mr. Ahn Daniel" changjo introduced and every one clapped...

"hi every one ..i am Niel..and i want to congratulate the newly weds..always love eachother..resist temptations and always be true ..now i will sing but i want to ask one of my bestfriends, Ljoe hyung to play the piano for me"

ljoe made his way to the grand piano.. he played and niel started singing (pretend onew is niel :P) :

every one was quiet as niel sang... they were very much in awe at how he sang with feelings..

Minsoo felt pain in his heart..that song..it was their song...

the way niel sang it..he was singing it from a painful memory...

minsoo felt his eyes water...he put his hand in his heart...he can feel it beating fast...

niel on the other hand had closed his eyes as he sang... he remembered very well what this song was to him... he knew it would be painful to sing but looking at how changjo and ricky loved eachother he decided it was perfect for them too... he was engrosed in the song that he didn't notice tears were falling from his eyes...

ljoe conitnued to play the piano although he and chunji were both eyeing their friend painfully.. they know what he was feeling...it was like the day minsoo left niel..full of pain..full of sadness...

when the song ended... niel opened his eyes..that's when he felt the wetness in his face...

"aigoo..i'm sorry..hehehe... im just really happy to sing this song to two people who genuinely love eachother.. be happy you two" niel apologized.. ricky and changjo hugged their hyung...

"kamsahamnida niel hyung.. that was the most beautiful thing ever.." ricky said wiping his own eyes... soon people were cheering at niel...

"are you ok?" chunji ran to niel and held him

"yes..hyung i'm going to go to the balcony for a bit..i need some air..." niel told his hyung and walked towards the doors of the balcony

minsoo followed niel...

chunji was going to follow but ljoe held him back..

"let him..maybe it's time they talk...you saw how niel cried..maybe this is what he needs to get some closure..."

niel was gazing at the stars...he didn't know why he had to cry...he thought he was ok and over with minsoo...

"pabo..." he scolded himself...

"niel..." minsoo called as he stood behind the younger on

niel turned and looked at him..he felt like he was going to start crying again so he tried to leave but minsoo held him back..

"please..let us talk.." minsoo said softly..

"what do you want?"

"i want to apologize..i made a big mistake..i'm sorry..."

"it doesn't matter anymore..your sorry doesn't mean a thing to me anymore" niel said coldly...

"niel.."

"just stay away .. and maybe when i forget everything..maybe i will forgive you"

niel was about to leave when chunji came panting..

"niel...angel...." he cried...

"what happened to angel? hyung?! " niel shook his hyung when ljoe came

"angel was kidnapped...chunji went to check on her but the nanny was not there anymore..she left a note saying she took angel..and she said to be ready with money if we want her back.." ljoe explained

at that moment, niel broke down... "no..not my baby..no...." he began to cry...

ricky and changjo came too where they are worried at  how chunji and ljoe looked coming back from checking angel...ljoe told the couple to entertain the visitors for now and they will deal with it so as not to create any commotion

minsoo was observing..he felt a little worried for the child too..even if she wasn't his own...

niel's phone rang a little bit later...

"yeoboseyo?"

"mianhae niel oppa..i'm just ..i'm sorry..." a girl's voice who niel was sure that it was the nanny

"hello Mr. Ahn...i just want you to know that i have your baby daughter...do you want her back?" a man's voice came through the phone "now listen to me well..i want 1 billion won in exchange for her..no police or whatsoever.. if you want her alive..you will be smart about it..be ready by tomorrow"

then the line went dead...

niel began to cry again..."what are we going to do..it's not like i can cough up that large amount of money right away...." he sobbed

"let me help..." minsoo said...

everyone looked at him...

ljoe looked at niel..and niel turned to chunji..

"we don't have a choice niel.." chunji said..as much as he hates the man..at this moment only he can help them.. minsoo's company is way bigger than niel's..he didn't really have a choice..

"i'll pay you back soon" niel said...he needed to swallow his pride for his daughter..even if it means seeking help from his dad

everyone gathered at niel's house...

none of them even slept a wink...

knock knock.....

changjo opened the door "hyung..come in..."

minsoo walks in with two huge bags of money... how he did it over night no one questioned..his rich as hell and influencial anyway...

"here.." he hands them to ljoe

"thanks hyung..i appreciate this very much...." ljoe smiled

minsoo felt some what happy..he missed ljoe..he never called him hyung since minsoo broke niel's heart...

soon it was noon... niel and chunji are starting to become nervous wrecks...

then niel's phone rang..

"are you ready with the money?" the same man spoke over the phone

"yes...now please..give me back my daughter" niel pleaded

"let's meet near the viewing cliff at bukhan mountain...at 11 tonight..no police or i'm going to throw your little angel over the cliff and you pray she grows some wings..."

the line went dead...

"bastard..." chunji screamed.. "he harms angel i will throw him off the cliff..."

"i'll go with you niel..." ljoe said

"i'm going too" chunji said

"us too" ricky and changjo chimed in...

"let me go with you" minsoo softly said...everyone eyed him.. "i want to make sure the child is safe.." minsoo said.."plus i can help you if worse comes to worse..i am trained in taekwondo and i am a liscenced gun owner just like ljoe"

the day was going too slow for niel..he didn't even notice that he has not slept since last night.. he  was full of worry about his baby girl...

they set of early as the meeting place was quite far.. they took ljoe's car and minsoo's car ...

when they arrived at the entrance to the mountain..niel was more nervous than ever.. chunji held him and walked with him following behind were minsoo and ljoe..

changjo and ricky stayed by the car and was instructed to call the police if they do not get out within 30 minutes after 11...

soon they found themselves at the meeting place.. no one was there except for 5 armed men and the nanny holding a sleeping angel..

"mianhae oppa..." the nanny bowed her head

"i trusted you!" niel screamed at the girl who only bowed her head

"ok ok..let's do the blame game later..now..do you have the money?" a man who they assumed the boss said

"yes we do..now give me the baby first" niel said as he took the bags from ljoe and minsoo

"how do i know you're not playing me?" the man said

niel opened one of the bags and showed him  the money...

"ok..let's meet halfway...bring one friend with you...you hand me the money...i hand you the baby"

niel nodded...

"i'll go with niel..." minsoo quickly said and he took the bags from niel...

niel didn't even mind minsoo at that moment anymore..all he wanted was his baby girl...

the moved towards the kidnapper..the man pointed a gun at them as he and the nanny moved closer.."on three...1...2...3"

as quick as it was..the man had the bags in his hand and niel was holding angel for dear life...

as they were walking back.. the man spoke again.. "i'm sorry to betray you like this but i am afraid i can't let you leave..alive.."

niel froze at what the man said..chunji's eyes widened and both ljoe and minsoo moved for the guns hidden in their jackets...

"kill them..." the man instructed and before any of the armed men could shoot..ljoe and minsoo were fast enough to pull their guns out and shoot making the men retreat...

ljoe was covering chunji as they seeked shelter..minsoo covered niel and the baby...

soon they found themselves being chased...when they were almost at the entrance where ricky and changjo were frantic..nervous as hell when they heard the gun shots...

police sirens were heard...the men retreated quickly to escape but on of the men fired one last time...

minsoo suddenly stopped running...niel noticed and turned...

minsoo suddenly coughs up blood...

and before niel could react..

minsoo falls to the ground...

a gunshot wound visible on his back...

"minsooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
