Laissez-faire
Description
The closest people to actually being Donghae’s parents are his maids and butlers. Growing up in a family as such, he has learnt that emotions are fragile things that should never be tampered with or let known, but he finds himself falling in love with a girl cut from the same cloth as he was: Jessica Jung. After many heartbreaks and denials, they decide to get married, and Donghae feels at the top of the world.
So why on Earth does Jessica turn to self-mutilation for comfort?
Foreword
This one-shot is an entry to the frozen heart contest. First time I'm writing for a contest, so...support me? Thanks!
Poster made by me, and I know it's horrible, so save your breath. I spent about five hours trying this whole new technique to make the poster, and when I was nearly done, Photoshop stopped responding and you know the rest. ...and I'm ranting, but... yeah! Just enjoy reading!
I understand that this contest revolves around Jessica, but the main character is going to be Donghae, who will do nothing but talk about Jessica. So yeah...Jessica's sort of the main character. Donghae's just the narrator. Well, I am, because it's in 3rd pov form. I don't know if I'm making sense OTL.
`Prompt.
Loneliness: just because her eyes don't tear, doesn't mean her heart doesn't cry.
