Description

Sungyeol's fear of thunderstorms is not helpful when a thunderstorm hits Seoul. However, Hoya turns out to be very helpful after all.

Foreword

This is actually pretty random. It was raining and I thought it'd be fun if Sungyeol was scared of thunderstorms. And I wanted HoYeol fluff. Actually I just wanted HoYeol.

It didn't come out as planned and it took quite a while, but at least it came out and quite nicely if I do say so myself.

Ignore the blatant self-praise.

Chapter 1: I really like Hoyeol (Hoya + Sungyeol) OTP as much as I like Wooyeol (Woohyun + Sungyeol) OTP, Gyuyeol (Sungkyu + Sungyeol) and 2Woo (Woohyun + Dongwoo) OTP. I hope to read more stories such as this.

I really, really love this fanfic! I read and loved the previous instalments too- not the right words and olive branch- but this one is definitely my favourite. Maybe because Sungyeol and Hoya finally get to actually touch each other? Even though it's only a hug kkk xD but my favourite part is the bit about how lightning will always be followed by thunder (or was it the other way around? I don't know xD). I think it was really deep and sweet and fit Sungyeol and Hoya's relationship perfectly :) And Sungyeol being comforted by Hoya is just too cute! But Hoya and Sungyeol being mutually jealous without the other knowing is also cute! And Hoya regretting his words-- and Sungyeol feeling insecure-- Aaah, my feels!

I really love the way you write Hoya and Sungyeol and their relationship dynamics. Hoyeol is not a popular pairing, which is a pity as I think it has a lot of potential :( both Sungyeol and Hoya have very interesting personalities - very different but also similar in some ways- which I think work well together. Your fanfic is one of the few good ones about this pairing that I have read so far ^^

I hope you will one day wrote a sequel of this, or just more Hoyeol in general! :) I'm looking forward to reading it!

P.S.: and I would love to know more about GyuJong too! That's yet another rare pairing that I love! ^^

OMG Is this the third sequel ? To be honest, I red this one first, then Olive Branch then Not the right words ^^"
But after reading everything in the right order, I just can't stop thinking about HoYeol XD

Chapter 1: I want to pinch Sungyeol everytime he feels inferior to the rest of Infinite members!! His loudness and optimism and choding character is what makes him so unique and different and valuable too! I really love your analogy of Hoya as lightning and Sungyeol as thunder. Makes sense too because Hoya is older than Sungyeol and lightning comes before thunder. But in some ways thunder can be more noticeable and catches one attention more and I hope that Sungyeol will know that too. Sungyeol is precious. I'm not the biggest Hoyeol fan but I'm warming up to them. There's something about their lack of interaction that makes it so endearing whenever they're caught standing next to each other in the same frame.. Well done author!!
