True Blue.

Description

You know, it's hard work being an imaginary friend. Not only are you left with the telltales of lonely children, or the whines of spoilt brats; but belief doesn't last, especially through adolescence. And sooner or later, you're always left behind.

Gongchan doesn't mind the whining, he doesn't mind the tears shed under blankets, or the comforting words he's expected to whisper. He doesn't mind that they think he's just a figment of their imagination. But what hurts is when they push him away, saying their too old for him, that they have real friends...that they don't need him anymore. It hurts that their right, and that when he lingers their theory is only proved right. Eventualy he isn't needed, isn't wanted anymore.

It breaks his heart.

And yet he always falls into the same trap, he can't just leave a crying child lonely. He doesn't have the heart. But it breaks him, to the point where he ended up back in the attic of his old house, the apartment from his past life.

That was when he met Sandeul.
The only adult who ever believed.

"Why does it matter anyways....I'm just a figment of your imagination"
