Our Coffee Shop, Our Love
Description
There's a little coffee shop in the heart of San Francisco, a small one albeit but well known with a variety of customers walking through its doors all night and day. There's a boy who works there, Junhong by name and has been in love with one of the customers for some time now, unable to admit it himself let alone speak to the man. When things take a turn for the worse with said man, he disappears, leaving the boy on his own in the coffee shop. Will love return? Only time will tell.
Foreword
“Would you think of me as a fool if I told you the truth? Would you turn your back on me and think me a fool? Laugh and hate me for it all? What else have I got to lose now?” Yongguk sighed, looking out to the black sea which was lighted by the silver moon above, the snow falling over the sea and sinking below the waters as it dissipated into nothing, reminding the older of the few months he had spent away, secluded and alone. Parting his lips again, the man spoke lowly. “After it ended, I thought I’d never be able to breathe properly again... I didn’t think anyone would ever love me, most of all not the boy at the coffee shop. Yet somewhere in the back of my mind was niggling me, telling me you were there still at the shop, waiting for me with a smile as you made my perfect coffees, the ones that I’ve somewhat become addicted to, Junhong.”
