"Junhyung oppa!"

You waved frantically towards me.  I still remember that smile on your face.  The way you glowed, even if it was a gloomy rainy day.  You were the rainbow that brightened with happiness.  But, now, that rainbow is not longer here.  My rainbow that appears after a long rainy day, is gone.

That one rainy day...

Changed my life forever.

Every minute, every second of that one day.  Still feels as if it all happened yesterday.  The one day, just happened to be our one year anniversary.

I waited for you on the corner street near the cafe where I asked you to be my girlfriend.  I checked the time on my watch...

You were late.

The rain started to come down hard.  I pulled out my black umbrella, rubbing my arms with my free hand.

*Where are you?* I thought.

I texted you.  You never texted back.

I called you.  You never answered.

Many thoughts ran through my head.

*She's probably on her way.*

*It's raining, maybe she took shelter somewhere.*

*Does she have an umbrella?!*

Scared, I pulled out my phone, dialing your number once more.  I looked up, tapping my left foot.  I searched the rainy street.  My eyes widened, I watched as you were running, your hands above your head as an umbrella sheltering you from the rain.

You stopped at the sidewalk, right in front of the crossway.  You waved frantically at me, with a big smile on your face.

"Junhyung oppa!" you called.

I smiled, waving back.

You took one step forward.  At that one step, time slowed down.   In slow motion, you ran out into the street, with that big, happy smile across your face.   Arms wide open, ready to be held in my arms.  But, time sped up.

And right there.  Everything happened in a blur.

In a blink of an eye.

The crosswalk lights turned into a stop, showing the hand signal.  The traffic lights turned green.  Cars starting to move.  My eyes widened, my worst nightmare...

Became reality.

There, laying motionless, my bright sun who showed me through the gloomiest, rainiest days.  The rainbow who came after the rain past.

That one rainy day...

The love of my life, dead....

Including, my own sanity.
