When he asked for her number and found out she had no hand-phone so he used a different method to communicate with her

Myungsoo walked into the classroom with light steps. There was slight of nervousness in his heart but he managed to push them away. He’s confident he would succeed.

He sat down on his seat and looked to his right.

Two seats away, seated his crush.

And that will be the day he asked for her number.

Hours later, the bell rang, and school was over. Myungsoo packed his bag quickly and rushed over to his crush’s table.

“Jiyeon?”

Jiyeon looked up with her face tilted to the right, “Yeah?”

Myungsoo giggled and shoved his phone to her, “Tell me your number.”

Jiyeon pushed the phone back to him and smiled a little.

Did she just reject him!? No, no, no. This can’t do!

But the next sentence from her stopped him from talking first.

“I don’t have a phone.”

Myungsoo’s mouth was widely opened. “No phone? Then email?!”

Jiyeon shrugged and picked up her bag, “I don’t think I need a phone or an email. No one ever contacts me too.” And she walked out of the classroom, leaving him dumbfounded behind.

Myungsoo ruffled his hair but he wouldn’t give up. ‘Give up’ was not in his dictionary!

The next day, Myungsoo went to school with 3 thick empty notebooks. He placed them under his table and took out one.

“This will be the only way to communicate with her!” He fist pumped in the air and opened the book to the first page. “Don’t waste paper. Write in one line.”

And he began writing. “Hi Jiyeon. I’m Myungsoo~”

He urged his partner to pass it to her and he obeyed. The book returned soon but he frowned at her cold reply. “Only two question marks?! What the…”
