Prologue:

                Dara lives in a normal terraced-house called “Model 3” or commonly known as the “Colourful House” because of the walls painted in varieties of charming and bright colours. She has a big and beautiful garden where she loves to sit there and relax or sometimes, just read a good book. 

                Sometimes, when she throws a party, everyone will dance and have fun in her garden. She always wishes that one day, she will find her love in her garden because to her, the garden is a special and wonderful place. 

                “Dara, are you listening? Dara, I’m talking to you!” Mr. Joel snapped her out from her daydreaming which made Dara startled. “Yes sir – I’m listening.” Dara bit her lip when she realised that all the students were observing her. 

                “Then, what was I’m talking about just now?” Mr. Joel furrowed his eye-brow, approaching Dara with a furious look. “You were talking about… gardens?” Dara gritted her teeth. “Detention!” yelled Mr. Joel at the maximum level.



                “There you are.” Chaerin sighed heavily, as Dara approached her. “Why don’t you just go home instead of waiting for me?” Dara asked, wiping her forehead that was glistened by sweats with a small-sized towel. 

                “Because I’m your best friend, dumb ,” said Chaerin, messing with Dara’s hair. “So, what is this about daydreaming during Mr. Joel’s class?” Chaerin broke the silence between them. 

                “It’s nothing, really. You know I’m a daydreamer,” replied Dara, throwing her hands in the air. “So, are you getting along with Seungri lately?” Dara asked. “Heck no! After he had stole my precious diary and revealed it to everyone – you think it’s easy for me to forgive him?” Chaerin yelled at the maximum level and shook her head. 

                “Well-” Before Dara could say anything, she got bumped by someone. “I’m so sorry. I’m in a hurry!” The person that apologised to her turned out to be Dara’s huge crush, Kwon Ji Yong – the school’s most popular boy. 

                Ji Yong bowed 90 degrees and immediately made his way to somewhere. Dara turned to the back and observed his movements with a broad smile while she can feel butterflies in her stomach. 

                Chaerin glanced at her, furrowing her eye-brow. “Dara!” Chaerin shake her shoulders, making Dara jumped in startled. “Sorry, I can’t control myself whenever he’s around.” Dara scratched the back of her head. “Never mind, let’s go.” The both of them continued walking back to their homes, while Dara still can feel butterflies in her stomach. 

                Chaerin, you don’t know how happy I am right now! You also know that that was the first time he talked to me, Dara said in her mind. 

                I’m so jealous right now! I mean like, Ji Yong apologised to Dara! At least he said something to her. He never said anything to me. Not even once, Chaerin said in her mind, filled with jealousy. Chaerin knows that Dara has a huge crush on Ji Yong, but Dara doesn’t know that Chaerin also has a huge crush on him. 

                The reason Chaerin doesn’t want Dara to know is because; she might be upset and frustrate. But no matter what, Chaerin will strengthen herself until one day; Ji Yong will be all hers.
