“If I fall, will you catch me?”,  she said, eyeing the busy streets below her. Kim Sunggyu gulped. His gaze fell onto her hands. Fresh scars bore into them. Fresh blood stained them. He saw the razor beside her, kicked it away before sitting down beside her. He realize he was inches away  from a fall so high there was no chance of returning.

Park Sora swayed her dangling feet. “You know I’ll catch you, I always do”, he said taking her arm, wiping the blood with the hem of his shirt. She looked at him, her face expressionless.  “Why?”, she whispered into the breeze. Kim Sunggyu stared into her eyes.

He let the silence engulfed them for a moment before softly whispering his answer.

“Because...I love you”.
