How they got there was a mystery. Why they were there was a secret. What they were doing was classified. All they knew was that they had to get out as soon as possible.
And by 'as soon as possible' they meant now.
But no one would let them out, so what was the use of asking? The five of them were alone in this maze, being tested for the sake of humanity. Having countless obstacles tossed in their way of freedom. Pitted against one another in the test of survival. Kept away from the world, marked with personal barcodes, and fighting death, here they were.

Hey guys, this is AsianNoodles a.k.a Quinnie, back with another Infinite story. But, it's angst this time around. Thought that maybe I should broaden my spectrum a bit. I'm kind of excited for it, since I'll get to experience new writing styles and genres. This is heavily inspired by their Before the Dawn music video, and maybe a splash of the Hunger Games. [but not really, since I came up with this idea before I read them] I've had this whole thing planned out for the longest time, and there's more than one fic. We have been working on this project in secret for a while, so ignore the chapter count -- there are many hidden ones. There are sequels, but I'll let you in on that later. I know the tags have myungyeol and woogyu, but there's much more to this story than romance. They'll obviously have their moments, but if you're not a fan, go ahead and give this a chance.

Hey there, people, this is -MyungKitty- a.k.a Tori, and I'm the co-author of this Infinite fanfic. If you've read any of my other stories, you should know that I'm one to write angst. Lots of angst. But, to be entirely honest with you guys, this is also quite different for me. I have never written a story with as much gore as this one will eventually have. Along with Quinnie, I'm excited to bring this story to the public for this website needs a taste of death, brutality, and to put it simply, something different. I hope to live up to expectations as an author, and goodbye!

Foreword
“humans are weak”
In a secret facility in South Korea, illegal tests are being held. They're testing strength, they're testing survival, they're testing sanity.
They're testing humans.
"Humans need to be stronger. They're too weak as a race to amount to anything."
So here they were. A secret government association that tested kidnapped humans in the name of science. They were going to find they way to make humans strong again, no matter how many tests they had to run, no matter how many had to be sacrificed; they were going to succeed. They would revolutionize the human race.
Kim Sunggyu.
Nam Woohyun.
Lee Sungyeol.
Kim Myungsoo.
Lee Sungjong.
They were all being tested, injected with serums that were to affect their bodies, immune systems, and brains. All five were test subjects. All five were their personal test rats. All five were pitted against each other in this maze.
Only one would survive.
