Prologue Preview

"This is a first." Lay says as he looks up and down from the map in his hands to the road they're currently on.

The driver --- Kris --- glances at Lay and then back to the road.

"What happened?" Suho asks worriedly.

They were currently lost in a deserted town in Japan in a van and there was no connection to contact anyone.

"We're in a town that's not on the map, aren't we?" Kyungsoo asks as his whole body shivers at his own words.

Everyone waits for Lay's answer, which Lay nods reluctantly.

"I don't want to be lost." Xiumin says as his body trembles under the blanket he's using to cover himself.

"We could stay in one of the hotels?" Suho hesitates to offer.

"Um, Suho, are you stupid?" Chen says as he blinks his eyes sassily. "Does it look like this place is even liveable?"

"What can we do?" Suho answers with another question. "We can't stay in the van. Who knows what would happen?"

"Roll the window down a bit Lay." Chen orders.

Lay rolls the window at his side down a crack.

A foul smell quickly fills the van and Lay rolls the window back up before groans of disgust were made by all the members.

"Who knows what would happen if we go outside?" Chen says sarcastically.

"But we can't stay in the car." Suho answers. "We can't open the windows so the air conditioner will be used up if we stay here and then what will we do when we drive in the morning? Mornings in Asia aren't exactly pleasant on the skin."

Chen stares into Suho's eyes, then looks toward the seat Lay was sitting at. "Lay, roll the window down a bit again."

Lay was about to follow Chen's order until Kris stops him by grabbing his shoulder.

"Everyone, get out!" Kris shouts as he turns to look at everyone behind him.

Everyone --- but Suho --- was reluctant to follow, but Kris rolled all the windows down and turned off the air conditioner, so they all jumped out of the car and stared at the hotel in front of them. Kris rolled the windows back up and took the keys out of its place and got off the car, locking the doors as he closes the driver door.

"Looks haunted." Kai jokes to try to lighten the tense mood.

"Doesn't the whole town?" Chen asks angrily.

"Lets go guys!" Suho says cheerfully as he opens the sliding door to the hotel.

A white smoke disappears at the door as Suho enters the hotel with others following, no one noticing when the entrance door closes.
