"Geek" , "Loser" , "Weak" , these were my nicknames at school.

They always tease me and I don't know why. Is it because of my looks?

But what can they do? I was born this way!

My name is Park Eun Mi.

My parents died in a car accident when I was 6, and now I lived with my aunt.

And living with her, together with her daughter, Gyu Won, you can say that my story...

can be compared to Cinderella's. 

My aunt treats me well, but her daughter...

I could tear her down into pieces, if not only for her mother.

I sometimes asked myself and questioned my parents, why did they leave me?

To suffer in this world.

To be alone and sad.

I can't take this anymore, I'm about to give up until...

Another day at school, I left a big sigh as I finished dressing up. 

White top, checkered skirt, black knee socks, braided hair, this is what I always look like when I'm in school.

And Oh! Don't forget my eyeglasses. 

My classmates say that I'm a nerd because I'm wearing those,

but what can they do? I can't see without it!

"Eun Mi!" Gyu Won called from downstairs.

She is my cousin, I'm a year older than her yet she doesn't call me unnie

Oh well, it doesn't matter to me, I'm used to it. 

My alarm clock rang once again, darn! It's already 6:00 a.m? 

Time flew really fast. And later I will then meet those erts at the bar.

Did I mention about my part time job?

Yes, you've heard it right.

I am working at the bar as a part time waitress.

But my aunt doesn't know about it. 

I'm sure, if her daughter knew about this,

She can be easily tricked, and her evil daughter will spend all of the money. 

"Yah! Eun MI!" Gyu Won called once again. 

Seriously, this girl doesn't have any patience at all.

"I'm coming!" I shouted back.

"What took you so long?! Hurry up! We're gonna be late!" Gyu Won shouted again.

She bid her farewell to her mother and kissed her.

This is the time when aunt will give her money.

Oh my poor aunt. She doesn't know that her daughter is kissing her for money. 

"We'll be going now, auntie." I kissed my aunt's cheek.

"Do you have something to buy at school, Eun Mi?" My aunt is always kind and thoughtful.

But she have done so much for me to accept her money even though I have my own job.

"I don't need it, auntie. Just spend it yourself, okay? Buy yourself some new clothes."

We went inside and rode the bus. 

While we're in the bus, it's like we're not realtives at all, or as if we don't really know each other.

At last we've arrived. 

Same school, same teachers, same students, nothing changed after all.

This is my last year in Seoul High but still, I haven't got any good memories that I can cherish.

Not like Gyu Won, I have no friends. I tried to have one when I'm in first year, but I failed.

The boys are teasing me, and girls wouldn't like it that way.

That's why I'm all alone. 

I walked inside my room, all eyes on me.

I've already predicted these things to happen.

But why does it feel different this time?

Although they've only looked at me for a second,

I can feel that someone is staring at me. 

I walked towards the empty seat and sat down.

"Hello there!" A cute and funny boy beside me introduced himself.

"Hi. It's your first year in Seoul High, am I right?"

For so many years of staying here in this school,

I haven't seen him before.

Oh well, maybe I saw him, but I can't completely recall.

"No. It's already my second year in Seoul High."

I knew it. I must not act as if I know everyone who's studying here!

Silly you, Eun Mi!

"Oh, I see. I'm--" I almost introduce myself when he uttered my full name.

"Park Eun Mi. Park Eun Mi is your name right?"

I couldn't even say a single word after hearing those words.

Who could have thought that someone I've never met before knows my name?

This is crazy, I swear.

"Yes. I'm Park Eun Mi. But, how come you know my name? Well, in fact, I don't know you."

"Guess you're quite famous here, huh?" He joked at me. Well, it's not a funny joke.

Maybe he knows who I really am.

That I am the girl who is being teased by many.

And being left out.

"And you are?" I finally had the chance to ask for his name.

"Me? I'm Kim Kibum."
