a/n: okay so basically i wrote this for this writing camp i attended recently. we were told to write a short piece on the theme 'unearthing truths' and i thought hard about it (really hard actually). i got the basic skeleton of the plot but really didn't know how to further it. basically, writer's block is a cubs. i literally sat infront of the computer for 4 hours doing nothing but think. needless to say, my brain was fried. its not that shippy though, because i concentrated more on the writing rather than the squeal-worthy moments. i hope you enjoy reading it and do let me know how you like it! do you guys want a sequel

the first time woohyun meets kim sunggyu, he feels prickly and annoyed. kim sunggyu smiles too bright, waves too often, and is the bright sunlight into woohyun’s dark night. kim sunggyu is woohyun’s fellow barista, and sunggyu brightens up the café maybe more than it ever was. woohyun expects that kim sunggyu’s cheerful attitude will wear off soon, because how long can it last? good things always come to an end. and kim sunggyu would be no different.
