“What are you doing? Let them go!”

“Ah… Why?” The boy whined, holding onto the jar tightly. From the small backyard, the skies were twinkling so brightly with tiny but beautiful lights that it would immediately captivate anyone who could be watching at that moment.

“You can’t catch fireflies, idiot! My mum said fireflies show paths for the angels to take back good people’s souls to the heavens.” The innocent girl slapped the boy’s back quite hard, urging him to give away the jar.

“Stupid. There’re no angels in this world.” He answered, still securing his jar containing a few glowing fireflies.

“There is!”

“Soohyun-ya, Shinhye-ya, come! It’s already late! Shinhye has to go home now.”

“Umma! Soohyun Umma! Soohyun Oppa here’s catching fireflies!” The little girl ran towards the house into her dearest mother’s arms and cried. But still, the boy was busy catching fireflies, ignoring the world before him.
