Hello! This is technically my first story, although I'm posting it again. I really disliked how I wrote it before, so here I try again. Please give me back some feed back, no matter how mean I can take it! >.<

Zhang Meixue hasn't seen her one and only cousin in almost 13 years. Unknowingly she's buried all her memories about him into the back of her mind, until her parents suggest she goes to Guangzhou to live with her Dabo and Bomo. Hoping to figure out why she's been cast into the shadows by her cousin and start anew with him. Meixue will uncover a secret that will change her life forever.

*Explinations*
Dabo - Your father's older brother
Bomu - Your Dabo's wife
Shushu - Your father's younger brother.
Shenshen - Your Shushu's wife.
gege* - In this sense it doesn't mean your actual brother or an older guy that's not related to you. The way it's used in this case is that in Chinese culture you are generally closer to people on your father's side than your mother's side. Reason being you share the same last name. So therefore you're "closer" and they're considered your sibling.
meimei* - Same thing as what I was trying to explain with "gege" but instead of an older male, this is a name for a younger female.
*Another note - the "Mei" in Meixue's name doesn't mean little sister, it's tone mark is different. Her name actually means Beautiful Snow. I wish I could do the tone marks so it's not as confusing, but since I can't there will be capitals to differentiate them.*

Foreword
"I now pronounce you man and wife! You may kiss the bear!" A four year old Meixue giggled as she urged her gege to kiss her teddy bear. When he wasn't moving, she urged again. "Come on Xingxing gege! Please?"
"Meixue," Lay began to complain, "I'm eight years old for crying out loud! I don't want to kiss a bear." He began reasoning with the younger girl. "I would rather kiss you." He added under his breath.
Meixue stared at Lay with glossy eyes, about to cry from the rejection. Luckily before she could cry Lay spoke up again. "Fine I'll kiss the bear, but you have to as well." He picked up the bear about to kiss it.
"NO!" Meixue yelled before grabbing the bear. "You have cooties, I'll kiss the bear first." She pouted and kissed it.
Once she finished kissing the bear, she extended her it to Lay. "Now you kiss it."
"MEIXUE!" Her mother called for her.
Upon hearing her name, the girl ran off to find where the voice was coming from. Leaving Lay in the dust, but soon enough he ran after the girl.
