History remembers the battle but forgets the blood. History will only remember a fraction of the truth. We all hope that when we are long gone, history will remember us for out triumphs, not our tragedies. We can change history by altering it in writing. In a thousand years will they truly remember how we won? All they will know is that we won. We won the battle. We won the war. They will never know the names that sacrificed their lives for the war. All they will remember is that we won. 

But what if we don’t win? What if we lose? We fall to our demise. Do you know how history will remember us? It will remember us as nothing. Because nobody remembers the losers.
