This story is about a girl, Im Yoona, who's ran away from her abusive home. Her parents have always hated her and loved her older sister and brothers more. Her siblings go to university and don't know about this treatment and she's rather not tell them. She doesn't believe in love because, well, the people she's tried to love the most just hit her and scream at her. She's learned not to rely on other people for help. But this time she's got no choice. Die or rely. She runs away to the first place she thinks of. To the only person she's truly called family. Her childhood friend.  Choi Minho.  Will he be able to melt her frozen heart and penetrate through those thick walls?

Im Yoona

She used to be a spunky happy girl full of life and happiness. She leaves an impact on people she know, just because she's so pure. She likes Minho but doesn't say anything because Krystal likes him too. Now she's silent and tough, the result of years of abuse.  She's built a thick wall around her heart, that almost no one can withstand. Yet when she meets Minho again after a long time, her wall crumbles for him. But what if he can't remember her?

Choi Minho

He's the imperfect one in a perfect family. The one that's slightly off, as everybody says. The trouble is that nobody understands him; well except one. Im Yoona. The ray of sunshine in his dull boring life. He's known her since she was 11 and until she was 14. One day, an accident ruined his memory of Yoona. Will he be able to remember his first love for her sake?

SNSD

Yoona's best friends. Are among the few people who she actually opens up to. They don't realize what happens to Yoona until later on. All very close to her heart. She opens up for them and the other five girls.

Tiffany:

Yoona's closest friend. They stick to each other like bread and butter, enough that some people think they're girlfriends at first. They take care of each other.

Shinee

Minho's best friends. Help him through really rough times. Them and SNSD get really close. Goes into depth later on in the story.

Taemin:

Best friends with Yoona, and knows most everything about their mess. Tries to help them in his own way, but starts to get manipulative, which ends up biting him back on the .

Jonghyun:

Usually the source of comic relief, has a thing for singing. Knows everything about anybody.

Onew:

The leader of them all. Kindest, but also the shyest.

F(x)

Friendly with everyone. More on them later.

Sulli:

Minho's younger sister who ran away from home. A bit dense and clueless, but can always find ways to brighten your day.

Luna:

The most source of relief for Krystal, is her emotional support. F(x) is mainly the four of them, Victoria choosing to hang out with the older unnies. Not judgemental at all.

Amber:

Rough with words and not exactly sure how to make her emotions clear. Luna helps her with that. Krystal's closest friend, always giving her tough love.

Krystal Jung

The girl who is one of Yoona's best friends. Determined to find love to get over the scars of her past. Her walls are built even stronger than Yoona's, only opening them up to Sulli, Luna and Amber. Krystal is a mask she puts on, while Soojung is the real her.
