t'was that feeling where I was watching them in front of the television and screaming to death knowing that they were up for the first place. It was unexpected, yes, and they were up against Cho Yong Pil for pete's sake! I was.. just happy that they, in a matter of 14 months and 6 days, were in that spot.
In truth, I wasn't expecting them to win. I wanted them to, but I didn't know if all our efforts (fans' efforts, esp. since I'm an international fan) are enough for them to win what they most truly deserve.
So, I was like, in front of the television, like near it, just to see them closer. I got my wish then, actually, they sang Wolf live. Yes, LIVE. And that's all I've ever asked for. To hear their voices singing the song that made me wait for more or not a year.
Just after their performance, the announcement of rankings was up, I was dead scared of what the result may be. And just seeing them, up in front of all the other artists, was enough for me.
I still remember them being always at the back, or always at the side, or wherever their oh-so-lovable-and-caring sunbae's would bring them; so at that moment, seeing them in front, though I knew that their hearts were racing fast just like mine, I just felt happy and light-headed.
Then the numbers started flashing on the screen, and (not to brag but I can add a bit quicker) after adding both the results, I was screaming even before the number 14419 showed up.

"THEY WON!!! THEY DAMN WON!!!!" - and that was accompanied with screams and jumping and crying (which turned out to be sobbing, I guess). I was feeling even more in Cloud 9, I was floating. I felt another prick in my heart once I saw Leader Suho trying hard to battle with his crying just to get all the 'Thanks to:' out. Luhan was whispering to Leader, Lay was at the other side leaders back, Tao and D.O. were flustered and even scared themselves when they touched each other, shock plain in their eyes. I even saw Kai and Sehun, after bowing to the fans, moved slightly back and kept their heads down. And Chen's reaction, him restraining his eyes to let any tear fall. Kris, Chanyeol, XiuMin and Baekhyun celebrating and keeping their smiles pasted on their angelic faces.

They did it! They proved who and what EXO really is. And now all I want to say to each of them is this:

Leader Suho, Kim Joonmyeon, 7 years of waiting for the right group has finally paid off. Not only your talents have brought you here but also your heart. To you who may be like a mother to the members, taking in all of their worries and concerns into your own. Holding group talks to keep a firm relationship with each other Smiling with that killer angelic smile of yours despite the stress and your red eyes, you deserve this. I don't care how you look like when you sing live, or how you cry, I'll keep my notes intact with yours and sob even harder than you. Congratulations on your 1st win, Leader Joonma, 사랑합니다 ~ 하트

Dancing Machine Kai, Kim Jongin, having the most number of teasers and even more criticisms because of this, this is it!! Having the upper card for learning jazz, ballet and other more dances was hard, they made work harder than the others, right? And yet here you are, never even complaining and up to the bat every time they need someone to demonstrate your group's dance. You're the best dancer there is, don't think otherwise, and keep yourself grounded. You showed us your vulnerable side tonight, your dance is just as precious as your tears, I'll wipe them off yourself if I get the chance. Happy Virus Chanyeol, Park Chanyeol, Mr. Teeth Rich that it is not easy to read any other feeling of yours than being happy and all-smiley, today is the day! I could just imagine how hard it must have been for you. People may have judged you differently because of your height and body-built, but no, you showcased to them that you are a man with not just the handsome-yet-derpy looks but also has the guts to play the guitar, drums and even do beat box. You even wooed more people with that low-addicting-and-y voice of yours. You kept your cool tonight, being the happy virus you are known for. Healing Unicorn Lay, Zhang Yixing, the one who always thinks he still lacks the talent and is far from being almost perfect, you got your answer along with the members today. To you who has showcased his talents, that even had the opportunity to perform with SHINee, and to compose such beautiful songs; the one who may look spaced out most of the times, but is clear that he is attentive to whatever's going on between s; to you who is unique with his cute dimple. Duizhang Kris, Li Jiaheng, who left home and went to a place that he doesn't even know the language of, your goal has finally been achieved. You who may always seem like the cool one, who is actually fun and cracks jokes at times; you do miss home, right? Call your family, I know I don't understand a bit of how you feel, but sometimes it won't hurt more if you get the chance to hear even just their voice. Main Vocal Chen, Kim Jongdae, though entered the group last, proved that he is there for a reason. It is normal if you feel like the others are better than you, but always remember that all of us have the chance to improve, too, and you are part of that 'us'. Your personality, being a troll and is always the source of laughter, I promise to laugh even when my jaws disentangle from my wherever it should be placed. Bao Zi XiuMin, Kim Minseok, being the fluffy hyung of the group and most reliable person was hard, too, right? you who always let the other members have all the attention and stay at the side to watch them in awe, you deserve to have those kinds of things, too. May you have nothing else more to talk about than the first time you met Tao, the reason why Luhan calls you 'Bao Zi', how 'shouting' is to be done, I'd listen to those again again if that's the only way I'd hear your voice. Panda Tao, Huang Zitao, who is a wushu god yet has this soft and jelly heart, we won't tease you if we get to see your tears for today, you know. The 11-12 years of doing wushu and being casted, being far away from what you were accustomed to, is now known to the whole world. You are the best romantic kungfu AB style panda I have ever known, and I won't allow you go back to where you ever felt alone, I know I'll be here for you. Luhan-ye, Lu Han, having outstanding korean skills and a beautiful face, now all you've come for has arrived. You may always use the excuse that you are manly, but real men cry too, gege. It won't change how we look at you even if one drop of tear falls from your eyes. Being farther away than you have been from home, since now even the waters separate you, is painful, right?
