It was another starry night for you and Jongho. You and him life in an apartment together in Seoul since you guys were from Busan, and both your parents didn’t it as problem for you two to living together. No, both of you weren’t dating, you guys just a normal best-friend. As usual, you and him were staring at Seoul Night with a guitar on Jonghyo’s hand.

Jonghyo was playing random but beautiful melodies when you hear his phone ringing. Then he stared at you, “You don’t have anything to say for me?”

“Don’t forget to work on our project when morning comes,” you replied.

He seemed disappointed at your answer, “Just it?”

You looked at him, confused. “Just it?”

“Don’t you know what date is today?”

“Today is June… June… 4th?”

“It was yesterday, pabo.”

“Oh, yesterday already,” you mumbled, “Then today is June 5^th. Why?”

“You don’t have anything to say for me?”

“What kind of thi—“ you suddenly remember something, “JONGHYO SORRY IT’S TODAY, RIGHT? I did it again. I always remember yours as 8^th not 5^th.”

The boy just smiled to his best friend who looked disappointed, “That’s okay.”

When Jonghyo was about to get in to reach his phone that rang moments ago, you pulled his hand, made him stay. “Don’t get in first,” you pleaded.

He gave you a look.

“I want to be the first one to say you this thing. Well, not literally the first, but at least first one that you know,” you said before continued, “You know. Probably your messages box are full with people who text you birthday messages, probably your fangirls. So… let me be?”

“Go on~ I want the first from you too, anyway.”

You blushed at his confession. “Happy birthday my handsome but super weird and noisy and hyper best friend! May you have a great year ahead and keep shining.”

Jonghyo couldn’t help but glare at the names you just called him. It wasn’t like he didn’t like the names, it was true, anyway. He was *cough* handsome, but super weird and noisy and hyper. He sat beside you and start to tickle your sensitive spot, stomach. “You miss something—no, two things,” he said with his face just two inches away from you, “First, you forget to call me smart and adorable. Second, you didn’t get me a present.”

“Your present will be done at 8^th. I was wrong to set the date in the store.”

“But I don’t want any kind of thing. I already have anything.”

“Then what you want?” you asked him. But all of sudden, you an idea popped into your head, “Wait. It’s not a thing. But I’ll be your present.”

He stared at her, “What?”

“I’ll be your present, like genie in a lamp. Got it? But the different is, I’ll just grant two wish from you.”

Jonghyo nodded in understand as he thought of something, “My first wish is..."
