Description
While others might give anything in exchange for a life of luxury like his, Myungsoo never asked to be born a royalty. He never asked to be the sole heir to the throne of an entire nation.
When his birth took his mother’s life away, Myungsoo grew up with servants and teachers taking care of the way he dressed, the way he carried himself, the things he ate, but he had never known what true love felt like. Feeling trapped by expectations and judging eyes in the palace, young Myungsoo felt his soul hardening to the outside world and becoming an apathetic, empty shell.
That was until a young boy came literally tumbling into his life and turning it all around.

Foreword
Hi, so this is my first ever attempt at a MyungJong fic. I'm a very, very new Inspirit, I've only ever written OnKey before this but I've been lurking around in this tag for the last few months so I guess I'm really trying something new by writing this.
The story is set in Imperial Korea, but there will be historical inaccuracies because I found it hard to fit into any particular timeframe of actual dynastic Korea. And if anything, I probably describe things and characters' mannerisms more closely to Imperial China because...I'm more familiar to that.
Also, this is supposed to be a (rather long) one-shot, but I'm not certain if I will break it up and post it in chapters or all at one go yet.
I'm not done writing this tbh, I've just decided to put this out here to force myself to quit procrastinating and get on with what I've started, haha.
