The first time Luhan saw the boy was in a small café in Seoul on a cold winter day. Luhan couldn’t help but get lost in his own fantasies while staring at the other boy, just thinking about how beautiful his tan, radiant skin would look next to his own pale skin. He blushed and quickly turned his head when he by the boy staring.  Stolen glances and small smiles like this had been passed between them for weeks, neither of them having the courage to say hello the other. Every day Luhan told himself that he would approach him, and every day he would just sit there, day dreaming about what love felt like.

                Jongin couldn’t take it anymore. Not that he didn’t love coming to the café every day, knowing the pale boy would be waiting for him, he just needed more. He needed to know what it felt like to touch the boy’s soft white skin, what it felt like to kiss him. Heart beating at a crippling pace, he got up from his table in the corner and headed towards the other side of the café. He slowly made his way to where the other boy always sat, and slid into the booth calmly. The shock that appeared on the blonde haired boy’s face made Jongin’s heart flutter, he was just so cute.

                “ H…hi, I’m Jongin,” he barely managed to stumble out. He swore his heart was beating so hard that the other boy could hear it.

                “Hello, I’m Luhan,” the other boy said offering Jongin his hand and a big smile.

                Jongin took Luhan’s hand, giving it a firm shake, and looked up to meet Luhan’s warm eyes.

‘Oh God, I think I’m in love,’ both boys unknowingly thought.

Luhan could lay here forever holding a small, warm Jongin in his arms, and it still wouldn’t feel like long enough. He gazed down at the tanned boy, taking in his pouty pink lips and messy brown hair as he slept. Luhan’s heart fluttered and a small smile crept onto his lips. It had been 4 months since that moment in the café, and Jongin still made Luhan’s heart beat uncontrollably. He couldn’t believe it, Jongin was everything he ever dreamed about. Though he did have his rebellious diva days, he still loved him. He loved listening to his deep soothing voice. He loved how even on the coldest of days he was so warm. But what he loved most of all about Jongin would be his dancing. He loved going to his recitals and cheering him on, watching him do what he loves the most. Luhan smiled and let out a soft laugh, bending down to plant a loving kiss on his boyfriend’s forehead before drifting off to sleep again.

                Jongin woke up at the feeling of Luhan’s soft lips on his forehead. He smiled a little; not wanting the other boy to know that he had woken him up. After he felt the chest his head was laying on continue its calm up and down pattern he allowed himself to steal a glance at his love. He took in the way the morning sunlight crept through the window and lit up his face, and accented with his thin white shirt made him look like an angel.  His angel.

“You’re so beautiful,” he whispered to the other boy. Tightening his arms around the older boys waist. A smile forever planted on his face, he went back to sleep.

                Luhan’s hands moved around in a fidgety way as he hurried around their small apartment making sure the candles were lit, the table cloth was as straight as can be, and lastly, patting his pocket of his formal jacket, that the ring was still there. Luhan hadn’t been this never since…well since Jongin approached him that first time in the café. Luhan relaxed a little at the thought. He and Jongin had grown close over the time they had known each other and Luhan knew it was time to make it official.

                He jumped as he heard Jongin trying to open the door to their apartment and his heart started beating even faster. The younger boy stepped into the house looking tired and stressed out from a long day at the university, but his expression totally changed once he got all the way through the door. He paused, after closing the door behind him, taking in the candles, the neatly placed table holding his favorite dish, and how amazing Luhan looked.  He looked to the other boy for answer, but got nothing.

                “Lu-Luhan, what’s going on?” He asked, an adorably confused look creeping onto his face. Luhan couldn’t help but chuckle, take Jongin’s soft warm hands into his own, and slowly start the speech he had been preparing for weeks.

                “Jongin, ever since I first saw you in the café, I knew that I had to make you mine. I love you Jongin, I love everything about you. Your perfect smiles that can pick me up even on the worst of days, your kisses that make my heart melt, and now that we finally have each other… Jongin, would you marry me?” Luhan finished, slowly getting down on one knee and pulling the ring out of his pocket.

                Jongin just looked at Luhan, tears streaming down his cheeks. He barely managed to squeak out a firm, yes, before he launched himself at Luhan, making them both fall to the floor laughing. Luhan barely had enough time to place the beautiful ring onto Jongin’s slender finger when Jongin rolled them over so he was on top of the blonde haired boy. Jongin bent down kissed him will all the love in his body and when he finally broke away wrapped his arms around Luhan and rested his head on his chest.

                “Jongin, don’t you think this would be a little more comfortable on, oh I don’t know, a bed?” Luhan questioned sarcastically. Jongin playfully hit the older boy’s shoulder as they both laughed and helped each other up. Finally on their feet again Luhan laced his fingers with Jongin’s and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before leading him to their shared bedroom to celebrate.
