Star King = O_O

Changjo Drabble

Lights. Camera. Time to shine.

"Introducing from America... 'Iseul'!" Kang HoDong announced with his signature voice and gesture. I will coming onstage in five ... four ... three ... two ... one.

I could hear the crowd cheering but ignored it and only focused on my performance. I'm not trying to be mean or anything; it's just that I get nervous and tend to mess up if I'm not concentrating 100%. "Mirotic" started playing and I began dancing. After Jaejoong's part, I relaxed and let the music take me. It's a nice thing to forget what you're doing in these few moments. Because it's just you and the music: nothing else matters nor should it matter.

As I was dancing to the chorus, I could feel the presence of others onstage with me. Usually, I would tense up because I felt added pressure to do well. But this time, for some odd reason that I couldn't put my finger on, I simply smiled and continued. I'm not a profession so this kinda frightened yet exhilarated me.

"I got you under my skin!" the idols chanted. Now I could see why Korean idols enjoy fanchants. They give strength and confidence because the audience is with you and enjoys what you're doing.

During the second verse, the other presences left and I was once again alone. I tried not to mind it much; instead, I attempted to imitate DB5K, the slightly different movements included. The first few drops of sweat rolled down the back of my neck and I made a mental note to thank my friend who insisted that I wear a light jacket. She wanted to hide my small tattoo that was peaking out, but hey, it hides sweat as well!

Finally, it was the bridge, starting with the rap. I put on my best smug/egotistical face as Yunho and Yoochun rapped. AS usual, I was in awe as Changmin's high scream blasted out: thankfully, I was still dancing. It would be quite embarrassing if I had stopped to admire his voice, don't you think?

The ending chorus came after what had felt like eons. Seriously, I had never thought that I would want a DB5K song to end quickly. But this was too embarrassing as it was; if it were any longer ... Oh look it's over!

"Ya! that was awesome! Give a round of applause for 'Iseul'!!!" HoDong exclaimed, causing cheers to erupt from the idols and viewers. "Please introduce yourself."

I smiled, taking a calming breath before starting. "Hello, I'm the crazy Kpop and DB5K fan 'Iseul'. Nice to meet you." I bowed slightly, because Korea is a much more respectful place than America, especially on TV.

"Wow, Iseul-sshi. How old are you?" HoDong had a rather strange gleam in his eyes, one that made me think of a giant Teddy bear.

"I am 24 Korean age," I replied.

Someone stood up among the idols and I realized that it was none other than Teen Top's Lovely Ricky. "You're our Noona????" His eyes were wide and I scanned to see whom else he was reffing to and saw my first true idol crush, Choi Jonghyun aka Teen Top's Dancing Boy Changjo. Okay, now is the time to spazz internally. See, this kid, who is the King of Awkward Aegyo, has been my ideal type for a while now. And I'm finally standing about five feet away? Gosh, I'm so happy that I don't even know how I manage to keep a straight face.

Now back to reality. "Yes I am. Why?"

"It's just that," he seemed embarrassed, "you're really short." The place erupted in laughter as I tried to not let that bother me. I really hate the fact that I'm barely 5' 2" but I can't help it; the short gene is in my family.

"Yes I know. It's okay though. I can take care of myself." I winked, sending HwangBo Unnie falling off of her chair due to laughter.

"Why are you laughing HwangBo-sshi?" HoDong asked.

She tried to talk, but was panting too hard. "Iseul-ah ..."

"Yes?" I wondered why she would address me. While I was mentally spazzing.

"You remind me of myself, that's all."

My eyes widened involuntarily. I remind HwangBo of herself? "Really?" She nodded and I continued, "Thank you Unnie. You're my favorite female idol so it's an honor."

"Let's talk after the show," she said, a huge smile stretching across her face. I winked while nodding; this is the best day of my life.

Leeteuk Oppa cleared his throat. "Iseul-sshi, do you have a favorite male idol?"

My heartbeat sped up; this will become very embarrassing very soon. "Yes. He's my ideal type."

"Is he here right now?" he continued. The way he spoke reminded me of an ahjumma.

"Yes." I murmured quietly. Eying the side where Teen Top sat, I wanted to slap myself for answering his question. "But, I won't tell you who it is."

"Why not?" HoDong was hugging me right now. Wow, his hugs are really strong. "Wow, you're so tiny! So cute!" Oh dear, I'm losing oxygen.

"Let her go HoDong-sshi. You're squeezing her too hard." Someone said. And I will find out who later and thank them a thousand times for saving my life.

Once he let go, the rush of oxygen made me a little lightheaded; hence, I stumbled a bit. "Are you okay?" HwangBo Unnie asked and I nodded.

"If we guess," Leeteuk Oppa began -- man, he's ruthless!!!! --, glancing at the MC cards, "you will show us your skill: boxing."

"Fine," I smiled. Now you may be wondering why I decided to do such a thing. It's because 1) I knew that they'll figure it out which saves me the trouble of saying his name and 2) I feel like showing off a bit.

"Is he younger than you?" Onew Oppa asked. Wow, that's really good. But I'm not surprised since it's Onew Oppa who said this; he was second in his high school.

I nodded and that set off a wave of exclamations. HwangBo Unnie stood up and came over. "Good decision" was all that she said before giving me a hug and walking back.

"Everyone who was born in 1994 and later stand up!" Leeteuk Oppa announced. My heartbeat sped up some more and my hands became slightly clammy. (A/N: This is like 7 years in the future if you guys haven't figured it out yet. XD)

Onew Oppa continued interrogating me. "Is the age difference more than two years?" Shake. Some sat down. "Is he about 180 to 190 cm tall?" Nod. A couple sat. "Was he born in 1996?" Shake. More sat down. "So he was born in 1995?" Nod. Three left standing.

"So that leaves Ricky, Changjo, and Sulhu," he concluded. I couldn't help but stare. I mean he managed to narrow it down so quickly. No wonder he was ranked second.

"Oppa is awesome." I couldn't hlep but comment. He simply gave his signiture eyesmile that I love.

"Ricky, Changjo, Sulhu, please come out and stand in front." AS they obeyed, HoDong continued to speak, "We'll take a vote of who everyone thinks is Iseul's ideal type."

"Ricky?" I asked. A couple of hands, but not that many. Poor Ricky. :(

"Sulhu?" I asked. A few more hands but not that many people raised their hands. Did I mention how adorable he looks right now with his big eyes looking a little shocked? XD Ahhh I shouldn't but Sulhu is so adorable! So I gave into a mental squeal.

"Changjo?" I asked. those that haven't voted yet raised their hands. And even without counting, I could tell that it was a clear majority. A small smile appeared and got a lot bigger a few seconds later. Standing directly behind Changjo, I waited for them to turn around. When they did, my faint blush grew brighter and I couldn't help but to look somewhere other than the man in front of me. Gosh, if you read that, you'd think he was my boyfriend or something.

"Thank you Noona." He bowed, giving me a small, one-armed hug. If I had thought that my face couldn't get any hotter, I was wrong. Having no other choice, I hid my face in my hands. His hands were on my arms -- OH MY GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -- trying to get my hands off but I couldn't do it. Aish, when it comes to this kid, I turn into a very feminine woman. So annoying. >_<

"Why Noona?" he asked. "Look at me please." His request sent the females in the house squealing. I was supper happy and thrilled too but I tried not to let it out. I shook my head. "But you have to show off your boxing skills!" Aish this kid. >_< I don't even know why I like him at times; he leads on and then the next minute, he's acting all innocent.

I removed my hands and walked away slightly. "Really, is that all you had to say?" I grumbled, not bothering to hide my disappointment -- to the amusement of the people present -- as I went to get ready. A worker came out with the target pads (A/N: I have no idea what they're called. O_O) and I got into my mode. With the signal, I started with simple hook shots before going into my routine. It's a ten to twenty minute training and practicing routine but I cut it down to about a minute.

Everyone cheered and gave a standing ovation. It's a really sweet thing to see your favorite idols screaming out of amazement. That sight touched me and I could feel a lump forming in the back of my throat. I smiled, and attempted to stop a possible breaking of the dam. "Thank you~."

Ricky came over to my side. "Noona neomu cool!" I couldn't help stop the peals of laughter that erupted from me; this kid's aegyo is so freaking ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! >.<

"Ricky-ah, no matter how hard you try, Changjo-ah is still my favorite." I teased. He gave a sweet pout as the audience laughed.

Leeteuk Oppa spoke up again. "Now we can't leave it off there, can we?" Oh god. Please tell me he's not thinking what I think he's thinking.

The idols screamed a no. "Changjo-ah, show off your skills!!" Ghun shouted. Personally, I think he's enjoying this more than he should. It's a little... annoying. Reminds me of my cousins. Yuck. >.<

I really didn't want him to do it if he didn't want to. It wouldn't be nice, but he smiled and I couldn't find any reason to stop him. Gosh, I'm so in love. >_< "I think I'll do a classic" was all he said.

And the next moment, I felt like jelly. Why you ask? Well, for one, "Noona Neomu Yeppeo" was playing and second, Changjo was only dancing for me. Like for me for me. When he ended, he was on one knee in front of me with a flower. How much better can this day get? I seriously don't want this moment to end! Can I have that remote thingy from the movie "Click" so I can replay this moment over and over?

"Should I accept it?" I asked, a merry twinkle in my eyes. I'm sure that my eyes showed how much I wanted it. But I felt like teasing him a little; these was a knowing glint in his eyes and that melted my heart some more. But can you melt something that's already liquid? Laws of physics and chemistry say no but since when did those apply for emotions?

"Please do Noona." He gave a sweet smile an now how could i say no even if I wanted? God, since when was I this cheesy? Urgh, this is so not me; why do you do this to me Changjo-ah?
