"No, I'm not sure." Aeri sighed, twisting her rings on her fingers, "But between this and what's waiting for me at home, I'm sure that's what I don't want."

"But this life is what you've been raised for, this is who you are."

The young woman's lips shifted downwards into a frown. "I don't know who I am, but that's not it."

With that, she hung up the phone, and quickly turned the ringer off before sliding it into her bag.  There was no looking back now.
