Himchan wondered if he were a girl and could get knocked up, would that make Yongguk stay. He brainstormed ways to make him stick around for hours at work. He thought about it on the ride home and at Yongguk’s favorite take-out place and at the convenience store across the street from his fapartment where he bought a cheap romantic comedy and a pack of smokes.

Yongguk was kind of like a cat. One of those cats who lets you pet it one second then when he gets tired of it, scratches you. That kind. The kind that leaves for days at a time until he gets hungry again. In Himchan’s mind Yongguk was a mangy grey tomcat with a tear in his left ear and a crook in his tail.
