Seo Joohyun, or Seohyun, is part of the popular crowd, which is run by the tyrannical Im Yoona. She's kind of the leader, though it's never been said.

When Seohyun gets paired up with the dorky and nerdy Cho Kyuhyun for an end-of-the-year project, she's ecstatic. Her secret? She has a crush on Kyuhyun. Only her best friend, Lee SoonKyu/Sunny, knows about Seohyun's crush. And Seohyun isn't the only one with a crush. Sunny seems to be getting awfully close with Kyuhyun's best friend, Lee Sungmin.

As Seohyun and Kyuhyun tighten their bond over the next few days, most of the people in school don't approve of their friendship. The populars stay with the populars. The losers stick with the losers. That's how things have always been, right?

Seohyun doesn't believe in such rules. Yoona, on the other hand, does.

SUNNY: Seohyun's best friend. Cute, bubbly, and outgoing. Supportive of Seohyun's crush on Kyuhyun. Possibly likes Sungmin.

SUNGMIN: Kyuhyun's best friend. A total flower boy with his natural good looks. He plays guitar and sings. He approves of Seohyun and Kyuhyun's friendship. Possibly likes Sunny.

YOONA: Leader of the populars. Cunning, devious, and selfish. She's the school's beauty queen and does everything to get her way. Strongly dislikes Kyuhyun.

P.S. I do not hate Yoona at all. I love her. :) I just thought that she'd be a good mean girl.
