Lu Man [hiatus]
Description
~Buzzing sound~
Went the vibration of a cell phone as the song ringtone kicked in.
~You can be a sususu sususu super girl~
~Sususu sususu super girl~
A hand shot out from under the covers as it tried to locate the phone of the owner.
The song continued to play.
~Fearless love I'm a super girl~
~Together we can rule the world~
The owner finally threw off the cover, revealing a girl, who tiredly opened her eyes to search for the stupid sleep waker.
~You can be a sususu sususu super-
She grabbed the phone, clicked the green button to answer and didn't even look at who the caller was.
"Wei (hello)?" She answered a bit annoyed.
"Mei mei (little sister), I need your help?" The person on the other line asked.
"Ge ge (older brother)?" She sleepily said as she laid back on her bed.
"Xue xue, I need you to fly to South Korea, pronto!" Her brother urged.
That definitely woke her up.
"Excuse me? Why?" She asked as she sat up in bed.
"I injured my leg and I need you to replaced me." He explained.
"Replace you for what?" She scratched her head in annoyance.
"Everything." He simply said. "I need you to be me."
"Come again?" Xue asked, believing she didn't hear it right.
"I . Need. You. To. Be. Me." He enunciated each word.
"Why?" She asked now ruffling her hair irritably.
"Mei, you need to be Lu Han and not Lu Xue." Han simply said, becoming a bit annoyed himself.
"I don't want to pretend to be a boy." She declined. "I like being a girl, thank you very much."
"Only you can do this, Xue." He pleaded.
"Why me, da ge (big brother)?" She groaned as she flopped back onto her bed.
"Because you're my identical twin." He reasoned. "I really need you, Xue Xue."
"Ugh.... fine, Han Han." She sighed.
"Great! Your flight takes off in four hours! Check your e-mail! See you in Seoul, South Korea!" Her brother replied hanging up.
"Wait! Han ge! Da ge! Da Han! Argh!" She screamed into the phone and tossed it to the side.
Then she instantly sat up in bed like a deer caught in front of a car's headlight.
"What do I tell mom and dad?" She voiced out loud. "Wait, what just happened?"
Foreword
alright... this story~ it's new to all of you whoever is reading this, but not new to me, or *cough*MDtaitai*cough*.
this was actually another story for Once Upon A Time that i thought about entering... but then again nothing really concrete.
it was formed sometime in late 2012. this was supposed to be the entry besides My Valentine Sweetfrog and after The Wallflower and the Social Butterfly.
but yeah.... things happen. lol
this one actually came out of the blue in thinking. not sure why, but i just started thinking of EXO and Mulan... and bam!
this story was.... forming. lol anyways, as for the title it's like ... you'll get it later on. lol
but anyways, EXO already had their prepared roles, the main girl was thought about due to one of the members of EXO.
and um... a sport also came into mind for some reason. xD it just.... had to go. sure it's a bit cliche and lot of these kind of stories exist.
but to make it more interesting for yourself as a writer is to give it your own voice and twist.
because this story was somewhat inspired upon the story of Fa/Hua Mulan, as well as the Disney animated film Mulan of the same name.
plus throwing in the sport... Soccer... which was also inspired by the movie titled She's the Man... and a bit of the JDrama, Hana Kimi for some reason. lol
and no.... You're Beautiful never crossed my mind... even though it deals with the same concept... i just didn't think of it, i had other things come up instead.
so... this story is inspired by many things, but doesn't mean i'm going to claim it as my own and plagiarize it.
i'm just using some elements of writing that's just commonly found in them and it'll just... transpire from there.
well hopefully.... because this story is still in the making. lol
i just wanted to share because i know that i will forget this story and not do anything with it.
and so i'm just setting it up and hopefully get around to it. of course i do have many stories...
very... very... many stories that i need to complete, update, and even share that's not even on here yet! lol
but then again, i'm not a professional writer/author... and so i can do things at my own pace and see how it goes when it hits me. =]
for now... enjoy this foreword until the first chapter comes whenever it comes~ ^^
oh.... this will also be included in my 50 Word Prompt Challenge.... just because that needs some attention too, and i'll kill this with one stone. lol
