She smiled at me gently, before pushing her hair back behind her shoulders and smiled again at the floor. Her smile reminded me of the ocean; deep and full of secrets that I hadn't discovered, even though I was her best friend. She glanced up at me, and then closed her eyes with confusion and realism. 

"H-Hyo, I've got to go." 

"What? I-Is it about what I said?" 

"N-no, please. I need to go." 

"Where?"

There was a silence. It felt as long as an hour ; a long, awkward hour of staring into eachother's eyes. However, it lasted two seconds before she spoke again. She closed her eyes, breathing out - and fluttered them open. opened to say something, as if she had to take a breath in to say it all at once. However, she closed and looked at me coldly.

"I've got plans. . . bye." 

And with that, she left.
