Chapter 20

INVITATION

Minho is in a meeting when Ralph rushed in the room.

“I’m sorry, Sir…it’s just urgent.” Said Ralph.

“What is it?” asked Minho

“The primay school called…After the short break they had this morning, they could not find Kevin anywhere.” Said Ralph.

Minho felt like cold sweat broke on his nape…Kevin…is Missing.

“Report this to the police. We need to find Kevin as soon as possible!” said Minho

“Yes, Sir.” Said Ralph.

Minho drove everywhere he could, around the school and malls. Minho picked up his ringing phone.

“Oppa, I already asked my friends to help. We’ll try to cover the area near your house and the mansion.” Said Sohyun

“Thank you, Sohyun. Call me immediately once you see him.” Said Minho

“Oppa…I think Kevin is looking for Sulli Unnie…He has been missing her…maybe Sulli Unnie would know where Kevin would have gone to.” Said Sohyun

“I’ll…call her.” Said Minho

Minho stopped his car on the side. His heart racing at the thought of calling Sulli…it’s been weeks…almost a month since he talked to her…He still goes to her house every night. He can’t sleep until he knows she’s at home. But he has never let his presence known. And He never tied to talk to her in all those instance.

Minho pressed Sulli’s number. The phone rang. Each ring, Minho’s heart races faster and faster.

She’s not gonna pick up.

Minho is about to end the call when he heard Sulli’s voice.

“Hello?” said Sulli from the other line

“Sulli? Umm...this is Minho.” Said Minho

“Ah, yes…Umm…why is there something the matter?  Is Kevin all right?” asked Sulli

That made Minho’s mind start working again.

“Ah..we have a problem…Kevin is missing. He seemed to have run away from school.” Said Minho

“What?!” Sulli’s voice is full of worry. “I’ll try to look for him. I’ll call you if I see him.” Said Sulli and then she ended the call.

Minho closed his eyes. It was painful how his only link with Sulli now is Kevin…and how she is not interested in anything about him except Kevin…

Sulli went to her house. She looked around but there’s no Kevin.

“Hey!” called out a man behind Sulli

Sulli looked back. “GD.”

“It’s been a while. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to contact you immediately but…I finally found you a position in our restaurant!.” said GD happily

“Ahh..really…thank you…” said Sulli who seemed to be disoriented.

“Why are you looking so troubled? Is there a problem?” asked GD

“Kevin…he is missing. Mr. Minho is also already looking for him. I need to find him.” Said Sulli

“Kevin? Oh..yeah Manager told me about him…the child who was under your care…who VP is now taking care of?” asked GD

“I need to find him.” Said Sulli

“I’ll help you look for him.” Said GD

“You…you will?” asked Sulli

“Yes…let’s look around the city.” Said GD

“No…we need to split up…that’s going to be faster.” Said Sulli

“Do you have picture or something?” asked GD

Sulli ran around the City, she looked at the marketplace where she frequently goes with Kevin. But no Kevin…

And then she remembered…

Sulli immediately took a taxi going to the park where they had a picnic before.

She looked around and found Kevin, sleeping at the foot of the tree they had picnic on.

Sulli can’t stop the tears…her poor Kevin…Why did he run away? Was he looking for her?

Sulli tried to control her emotion…

She dialed a number in her phone.

“Hi…This is Sulli. I found Kevin. Please pick him up now.” Said Sulli

Sulli hid behind a nearby tree while waiting. All the while looking at Kevin.

And then Krystal arrived.

Krystal woke Kevin up. Kevin first pushed Krystal away and started crying…but when Kevin calmed down, Kevin allowed Krystal to carry him behind her.

“That’s right Kevin…get used to Noona…because she’s going to be your mommy…be strong my Kevin…” Sulli said while crying behind the tree.

Minho received a call from Krystal that she has found Kevin already. Sohyun and Minho rushed to Minho’s house.

“Thank God he’s fine.” Said Sohyun

“Where did you find him?” asked Minho

“Umm..in a  park…the one near Sohyun’s middle school.” Said Krystal

“Why would he end up there?” asked Sohyun

“I don’t know…I just found him there.” Said Krystal

“You went all the way there Unnie? That was a bit far.” Said Sohyun

No…Krystal would not have thought
