Description

She was a princess, he was the son of a war general, and one day the two of them fell in love.

But before that they shared many hesitant conversations and many more arguments, for she was to be shipped off to a faraway kingdom as a prospective bride and he was to guard her on her journey.

 

 

Foreword

          It is not a peaceful time. Food is scarce and disease sweeps through the land. War is coming to the seven kingdoms of Korea. In order to secure peace for itself, the kingdom of Usan enters an alliance with the powerful Silla. The agreement calls for an exchange of wards. Princess Naeun must step out of her sheltered palace life and embark on a long journey with an entourage of guards and ladies-in-waiting to the capital of a foreign realm, where her primary task is to win over the heart of the crown prince.
