Hyerim always had the worst luck. When she wanted to go to the beach, it would rain. When she studied hard for a test, the test would be cancelled. When she forgets to bring an umbrella, it would rain (even if it was perfectly sunny the past week when she had her umbrella). It was strange. She was “jinxed” since she was young. She recalled a time when she was playing on the swings with her sister. When it was her turn to play, the swing snapped, even though it was perfectly fine when her sister was on the same swing 30 seconds ago. Her family simply dismissed it as her being inattentive and clumsy, and took extra care to prevent her from touching fragile items. But Hyerim knew she wasn’t inattentive or clumsy. In fact, she was a very careful girl and extremely meticulous in her work, as seen in her good grades. She just had bad luck, that’s all.

Myungsoo always had the worst luck. When he wants to play soccer in the field, it would rain. When he decided to skip class for the first time, the teacher noticed he was missing, even though his best friend sungyeol skipped classes all the time and never got caught even once. When he was playing racing cars in the arcade, somehow the steering wheel on the machine broke off, even though he swore he didn’t use that much strength. It was strange. He was “jinxed” since he was young. He recalled a time when he was taking a walk in the park after dinner with his family and a bird decided to poop on his head. Not his mother, not his father, not his younger brother. Just him. His family simply dismissed it as him being rough and careless, and took extra care to prevent him from touching fragile items. But Myungsoo knew he wasn’t rough or careless. In fact, he was a very careful boy and had a keen eye for detail, as seen from the photographs he took. He just had bad luck, that’s all.

Inspired by a friend who said that she's always unlucky, and jinxed. The main character is based on her and her favourite member of Infinite, myungsoo/L. I hope this story cheers her up (: Also featuring another friend and her bias, sungyeol ^^
