“stars shine so bright in the desert” he said looking up, gazing at the small dots in the endless dark screen called sky “I wish I could be in one”

And the one beside him stared at a star too, a star so close its painfully blissful. He smiled when the younger pointed at a dot saying “look! this one is blue” but he didn’t try hard to find it, because it was one of a billion and he would not know which junhong was referring to, so he feigned understanding with a nod after a quick whip of his head toward the sky

“I heard the most bright stars are not stars in fact but planets, did you know that?” he moved his head to the side to be met with a smile, a smooth expression, a very deep look in his hyung’s face, he frowned “do you think im talking nonsense? Jongup-ah” his pouting face made the older’s face make a bigger smile

“no, I would never” half-moons were his eyes

The pout mirrored the smile back, eyes twinkling even more, he looked back up, pointed at yet another dot, scooted closer to his hyung, shoulder to shoulder “see those so bright ones? The two that seem a little closer to eachother than the rest!” jongup smiled more to himself, thinking that his dongsaeng is somehow silly but he hummed and zelo made a small circle around the stars he chose which was to jongup a circle that included at least five other shining dots

“the one at the right is me, while the other is you”

Jongup had so much to say suddenly but was lost in them he doesn’t know what is what, he wanted to laugh, make fun of the younger, tell him he is silly, say that the younger was a star already and they didn’t need this, or even say his approval, but he ended up smiling

He always smiled when he got confused of what to do first, he would just smile
