A couple walks on the street. He wraps his arm around her waist while she leans her head on his shoulder. Their steps stop in front of her apartment. He pulls his hand from her waist and curves a smile at her. They observe each other face as if they won’t meet the next day.

“Jia…” He says her name while she patiently waits for him to continue his words.

He tucks a strand of her hair on her ear before he could continue his words.

“How can I say this?” He scratches his head.

“What is it?” She asks him back, wondering what words lingers in his head.

“Tomorrow you’re going to be at bakery right?” He asks.

“Yes, why?” She asks him again.

“Nothing, I just want to make sure you’re there.” He replies with a grin plasters on his face.

“You’re hiding something from me right?” She crosses her arms.

“No.” He didn’t hesitate to answer her question.

“If you’re not going to tell me, I’ll go home now.” She quickly turns her body from him and walks away but he caught her wrist. He pulls her body in his embrace and hugs her body tightly.

“Don’t be mad. I didn’t mean to lie to you but this is for your own good. Just remember tomorrow is going to be special for us.” He explains.

She releases her body from him and touches his face.

“Why must tomorrow?” She stares his eyes.

“Because what I plan is for tomorrow.” He smiles.

“But… I didn’t feel good about tomorrow. Just tell me now, okay?” Her expressions changes to worried.

“Nothing will happen. Trust me. What will happen tomorrow is happiness. Believe in me.” He takes her hand and kisses back of her hand.

She smiles to his actions and nods.

“I’ll believe in you.” She gives up and has a faith on him.

“Thank you, Jia. Remember, I will always love you and no matter what happen I’ll never forget you.” He promises her.

“I will and I love you too.”

He curves happy smiles while looking at the ring at his palm. He puts the ring in the small box, then he slides in his jacket. He gets out from his car and saw his girl from afar was waiting in front of the bakery, her workplace.

Before he could calls out her name, his leg stumbles due to something he steps on. He looks down and saw a gun was underneath his feet. He raises his eyebrows and glances at his lover once again, she still waiting for him. He exhales and reaches for the gun under his feet, bravely holds the gun. He brings it right in front of him, observes the gun casually. He realizes hammer of the gun has been pulled after he observes it for long time.

Suddenly, a loud of gunshots was heard. Without hesitating, he squats down on the street while his hands closes his ears and his eyes shut tightly. After that, he slowly opens his eyes and takes a deep breath. He tries to stand with his might and lifts up his chin to looks at his girl. His eyes roam everywhere and saw a body lying on the ground with blood everywhere.

His eyes widen and his body trembling after saw familiar the figure.

“Jia…” He whispers.

“Jia… Jia!” He shouts her name.

Without agitates, he throws the gun in his grip and runs towards her with his greatest speed. Before he could reaches her, his body flew away as a car drives towards him in sudden.

His body rolls on the street and his head hits on the ground vigorous. His head is bleeding because of the hit. He can’t move his body anymore while his sights become blur. His mouth keeps calling her name in silent as he grown weak to speak.

Within a minute, his sights went dark and his eyes close slowly.
